  • Just went from not great to worse

This app is buggy and problematic. For example there are text fields that allow you to fill out information like your career. Let’s say it’s a longer title like “creative director of widget pummeling”. It shows up in the person’s profile as “creative directo...” and then there’s no way to view the rest. A few times, while not using the app, a notification popped up saying “Someone likes you” then I’d go to the app and there were no new likes. I paid too much money for a three month premium membership just to be able to communicate with people but it’s just not been worth it. You can’t even view more than one profile until you’ve “liked” or rejected them. While you wait for the laggy server to show you the next profile they suggest you center yourself or tell you they’re “contemplating your next match.” Please don’t give me some new age lingo for poor app performance. Just be honest, you cut corners on the server. There are a number of people I contacted who’s read receipts show that they’ve not even seen my message. Maybe this is a product of the past scheme where you couldn’t see someone’s text unless you bought a premium membership. As far as I can tell there’s no algorithm to match people like on other sites. They just toss the next random person your way to see if it sticks. They send emails with attractive looking people but it’s bait and switch; when you click the link it goes to a completely different profile. I did however get a message from a very attractive younger woman and that link worked. But it took me to a profile of one of their employees and the message was just advertising. There they use lots of new age jargon with little integrity behind the words. Needless to say I won’t be renewing this app that is still barely in beta. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because the idea of meeting like minded people who lean towards healthy/spiritual living is a good idea. Though the implementation here misses the mark.
  • Worst. Dating. App. Ever.

Gave MeetMindful a shot because I really had hoped to connect with like-minded people without having to wade through the superficiality and spam accounts and phony profiles so prevalent on other sites/apps like Match. Up to a week ago, MM would have received at least a passing grade in that respect, despite the fact that, as a Colorado-based company, that is where most of its customers are. The app itself was clunky, and personal privacy options extremely limited, if even existent. Profiles were limited to a maximum of six photos, which cannot be labeled by the user or “liked“ by the viewer. Still, this was, at least, tolerable to some degree – up until the first week of May, 2018, when MeetMindful decided to roll out a “more streamlined“ version of the app, which essentially eliminated every other basic functionality, wiped most of my profile clean, made it impossible for me to any longer see those who had previously viewed my profile, or who had liked it, and the list of of potential matches in my area was reduced to zero. Not only that, but MM saw fit to reduce my viewable search range to 70 miles maximum. I contacted the company through the help center, and was informed by a customer relations specialist that the developers are just trying to work out the bugs, and that they hope to have everything up and running smoothly soon. Well, four days later, with my money in their pockets, my search page is still blank. Haven’t these people ever heard of beta testing? Do yourself a favor: avoid this app, and the dating site, at all costs. It’s not worth the frustration...let alone your cash. Giving MeetMindful one star, only because “0” isn’t an option.
  • Neat idea, but…

    By Garbonsai
Neat idea, but there aren’t enough users (maybe two dozen active users within a 70 mike radius of my area) yet to make it worthwhile. The app is also buggy as hell (frequent lockups, going back to the results list doesn’t remember how far down you’ve scrolled, cropping photos often won’t allow you to save on the first try, etc.).
  • Refreshing but frustrating

    By TraHEARTcey
I love the concept of meet mindful. It has been refreshing to read the profile of like minded individuals. I have found several matches. That being said, I’ve also had numerous issues with the app. The app freezes constantly and I’m not sure if my matches are seeing my messages. The issues are giving me pause. Not sure if I will continue paying for the premium feature.
  • Disappointing

    By Milosavage
Both members require a membership subscription to permissibly chat with each other? Hahaha, that is a terrible business model. Good riddance.
  • I was pleased

I met one of the greatest woman of my life on here. Her name was Christine. But our schedules were just too different and I have 3 kids. And she had none. But we had a beautiful time and I’ll never forget her and we are still friends. When I’m ready I bet I meet another amazing woman on here again. But I’m pretty busy. Thanks for the cool site!!
  • Premium Membership Isn’t Working

Paid for premium membership and can’t get premium access. A little annoyed. Men in my area seem to be like minded and was looking forward to connecting further...
  • Horrible.

Even if you cancel they keep charging your card. Please people sure you check your monthly statements. Sorry but this might work for other people, definitely not me.
  • Sneaky Automatic Renewal and Refusal to Refund

    By Zi Wa Wa
This app’s sneaky automatic renewal is not only tacky, but what makes it even worse is their refusal to refund/take any responsibility. I have literally another merchant to do business in this poor of form, and for such a subpar product to top it off. That is likely why they trick and cheat people of their money and don’t offer any refund, even prorated refund. Businesses like this makes me sick. You should take responsibility if you don’t even fine print - that’s so unethical and borderline illegal if not full on illegal.
  • Good app but kinda slow

    By Megs19_89
The idea behind it is awesome. I loved that you had to be proactive with filling out your profile and paying because it showed people were actually interested in finding someone. The messages I got from people were more thoughtful and interactive. I enjoyed it a lot, but it also had its flaws. It would crash from time to time and was kinda slow. I was constantly restarting it. In any case, I did meet someone from the app. We met a few years ago and parted ways but this time around things just seemed right. Oddly enough, his was the first profile I came across when I logged in. You get whatever effort you put into this, so I’d say it’s a decent app.
