WHY CHOOSE ALFRED? UNIVERSAL Alfred is compatible with the majority of smartphones and tablets on the market. Did you get an iPhone X? As long as your devices run iOS 8 and up, it is compatible with Alfred. Your old iPhone, iPad, or iPod can have a fruitful second life and serve a new purpose! You won’t have spare gadgets gathering dust or going to waste anymore! Do you work behind a PC all day? Use Alfred’s WebViewer to stream video feed from your computer. VERSATILE Everyone wants to protect their loved ones and ensure their safety. You don’t need ADT or Simplisafe to do that. Unlike traditional CCTV systems, you can place Alfred anywhere and change as often as you want wherever you need to reinforce security. You don’t even have to buy a Nest Cam or Dropcam. Besides the cost of the equipment, these smart home appliances often charge a monthly fee. With Alfred, there is no complicated installation, IP settings, or contract. You only have to download Alfred to build a DIY home security system: pure and simple. Besides the capacity of streaming live feed of your home, Alfred keeps you updated on what is going on in your home with motion sensor and instant alerts. If you see an intruder, you can scare him away by speaking through the walkie-talkie and immediately notify the local authorities. The videos are kept safe in the free cloud storage, and they can be saved or downloaded as evidence to help identify the suspect. Alfred is an essential component of any home improvement project if you are interested in building a smart home or experimenting with voice assistants such as Google Assistant. Consider the following scenario: when holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday approach, the number of parcels everyone receives increases. Unfortunately, so do the parcel theft cases. UPS tracking and Fedex tracking do not keep your precious parcels safe! If you check a crime map, you will see that burglary happens more often than you can imagine. How can you deter parcel thieves? Besides becoming part of the Crime Stoppers, you should make Alfred guard the entrance of your place and keep an eye on your property as well as purchases. ECO-CONSCIOUS Why throw away perfectly usable devices and buy more equipment when you can upcycle, recycle, and repurpose old devices? Everyone is taking advantage of their unused smartphones by turning them into a music player with Spotify, a GPS navigator with Google Maps, or a fitness device with FitBit. It can even become a Bitcoin miner, VR headset, or smart doorbell. Why not use yours as a security camera? Alfred Premium, a monthly subscription service, charges 3.99 USD/month (local currency may apply). It offers HD viewing, recording, as well as ad removal. At the confirmation of upgrade, the payment will be charged to your iTunes Account. The account will be automatically charged for renewal unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current subscription expires. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal by going to Account Settings. The features of Alfred Premium are associated with the account you use to log in to Alfred (not your iTunes account), and are available to all devices logged in with the same account. • Loss in connection once in a while

    By Trav the man%100
Not sure if it’s the internet or not. Other devices work fine. I have 3 iPhones connected and one random one will lose connection and if I check back to it in 10-15 mins it will be connected again. Then I get a few error codes. It doesn’t seam to be a smooth system and I paid for the year program which I thought would be better, apparently not. Also if you have the camera set to high sensitivity to motion sensor the camera goes on and off even if there is nothing going on in the room. Not sure if it’s picking up dust or just tweaking out. It’s ok just not reliable.
  • Keep on eye on our dogs

We use Alfred to keep on eye on our dogs when we leave for a couple hours. If we are our puppy chewing something, the app lets us talk to him, walkie-talkie style. Great feature. It does go offline more often than I’d like, which can only be remedied when we get back home. Don’t know if that’s the app or our WiFi
  • Impressive

I have been terrified lately since we noticed someone was trying to open our door so I wanted to get a security camera and alarms for our home. But they are kind of pricey all together. And luckily I found this app and was able to put my old phones to use. Although it is slow to connect sometimes and notifies late, still thankful for all the features of it for only a few bucks for their premium. I was hoping that the delay would be eliminated once I've purchased the premium but it didn't. It still takes a few seconds to open up and view my camera. And I wish it has an alarm sound so if you caught someone then you can play it from the viewer's device to scare that person.
  • Good app, most recent update not so good

    By SoJunghan
I like the app a lot, very useful for being free. Latest update seems buggy though. It added ads to the events tab but also made it necessary to tap Delete twice to delete video clips

I love the wake up feature. With or without ads, it’s a great home security app.

  • Sensitive to clouds

    By lizzylouwhoo7
Love this app! The only problem is its way to sensitive to cloud movement and sends me multiple notifications a day of nothing.
