  • The sharing albums isn’t working for me

    By blujaya101
Getting a little tired of google dad shares photos with me all the time, and I click on the pictures just for it to lead to “link cannot be found” for the last 10 times. It’s getting really annoying. Please fix it or help clarify how to properly share albums.
  • What happened?

First time looking at pictures on this new phone app. Ugh multiple copies of EVERY picture. What a job to delete them. Still not done. I don’t even know how so many pictures were accessed on this new phone.
  • Battery drain

Good app, except it keeps running my battery down within 4 hrs
  • Gmail users beware

Uploading photos can disable your email. Photos count against your Google storage limit. So if you care about email working, use with care.
  • No privacy = uninstalled

The only reason I downloaded was to look at someone else’s photos. You do not get access to my photos. Stupid privacy. I’ll tell my friend not to use your stupid service.

  • I Love my Google Photo App

    By Badly Given
Google Photo Review I am a huge fan of Google photos and my wife gives me a hard time when I try to tell friends and family of its virtues. I love the storage feature and the ability to sort by face, place or thing, excellent. I just save all photos on my phone to a computer or some external memory then I can remove from the phone and rely on Google photos to have my pics at the ready. I am scanning old pictures into my computer therefore linking those to my Google photos as well. In the properties, I can also change the date, which allows them to also be searched based on their age and to be found by the Assistant. I really enjoy the Assistant feature best. I can't wait each morning to see what memory appears from the past and some albums are so good, I can share them as is. Stylized pictures, animations, movies, I love it. Facial recognition is excellent for finding anyone and I use it constantly. Sometimes for people's birthdays, I use it to make an album on the person and put it on FB et al. Love how you can search by almost any item,i.e. Beaches, birds, weddings etc, very useful. What would I like, captions for the albums, more editing features on most creations, however, it is terrific as is. Thanks to the brilliant folks that have created this application!
