Most of the time the app won’t connect to the phone. Also, there are much cheaper alternatives for the rudimentary info you get on an issue.

Garbage. Pure garbage. There is ZERO data it will give you unless you purchase the premium version - at $70 per year. Honest to god they should give the device for free because what it will give you with upgrading - is NOTHINB.
  • Terrible live data interface

    1. The live data does not work on my iPhone in portrait. 2. Configuring the live data screen is difficult to understand and looks like the design was outsourced without any regard for human factors/UX. 3. The Bluetooth connection time on the live data screen is too slow. If the app is open, it should maintain a persistent Bluetooth connection to reduce in app connection delays. 4. I think it’s bogus that I have to subscribe to read the emissions scan. I understand requiring to pay for some of the other stuff like help/support/extended information. But withholding raw data that my car computer already holds is bogus. Will not be returning, but will not be recommending nor buying another one. 5. The whole product seems seems like production was rushed with minimal investment in design and engineering. This product is just another cheap piece of garage that’s overpriced and making some company rich that doesn’t deserve it. The marketing is directed towards individuals with little to no car knowledge that will happily over pay for the subscription. I myself initially purchased this product because it had quick shipping on amazon, good reviews and a cheap price. Once I found out about all the subscriptions I immediately regretted my decision and wished I instead had purchased an old school scanner that I know will work forever without ever asking me for more money.

I saw this on Facebook I believe I have been working on cars and trucks for most of my life I got out of auto repair when the computer and electronics started getting heavy I would still do that dirty heavy work and I don’t mind doing restoration and heavy equipment but I’m 66 years old and a friend of mine that started as a customer back in 1995 and I am still doing work for him so he just gave me his 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 with 511,780 miles on it and it is all original no rust or rot but it has a intermittent problem when dash lights come on and it feels like a clogged Exaust system and it doesn’t respond till I disconnect the battery for 5-10 minutes so I hook it back up and it stalls first start and after that it is like new again it has been good for 700 miles and then I will look down and see a few lights and then later I start and the lights are on and it’s holding back and has no power again and then sometimes it will do it with in 50-100 miles. This tester is going to find it for sure if it does because I have no idea what why or how it works like I just bought a truck with 10,000 miles and then it acts up again so I’m guessing that the FIXD is learning the truck But I will tell every person that I know to get it and then sign up for the package I plan to order at least 5-6 more. I will keep y’all up to date on what is going on and how I make out. Try it out you will enjoy your new option and you get the app for your phone and it will keep track of your maintenance right down to your windshield wiper lifespan.

I am delighted with all the hot scoop the program gives for my high mileage Honda pickup.it is down from 9 warning lights to zero. Occasionally one called tire pressure will come on g oh f a couple s seconds. Going to check h on f my just ordered that N de super duper hand sized pump ever gets here. It had a broken mounting point for the right brake cylinder. It set off 8 warning lights . All disappeared when the mount was replaced. Zero lights steady since

  • Missed the Maintenance Required & (!) lights

*I know I have a bad sensor (!) for low tires. I also recently had the Maintenance Required light join it. It’s a 2007 Prius - and supposed to be compatible. I got a clean bill of health from FIXD, despite the warning lights. *I like the list of recommended maintenance and expected cost range. I like the general set up. *I didn’t appreciate finding about the $69.99 subscription cost (with one free week) when I was ready to use it and already out the cost of the plug-in.

It’s been working fine since I have received it but haven’t used since July of 2020 and now it’s January 2021 and I’m trying to use it but it’s not working. Do the car have to on for it to scan?
