    The UI of this app is appalling. It's unoptimised, painful to look at, and constantly ramming ads down your throat despite being the companion app to a paid product. I would frankly suggest never buying a FIXD product in the first place based on this app alone, because I'm considering pitching mine. Avoid at all costs.

    Once you sign up, they will keep charging your card and claim they can’t refund you. There is no unsubscribe or cancel feature on their app, which is just a sneaky way for them to make extra money.

    This app is very scammy they offer you a free trial and then charge you 70$ and will create you an automatic account that stores your information and charge you 70$ a month. Other reviews say this. DO NOT BUY THIS. It won’t even show up on your subscriptions because they did it so shady by making you an account and storing your card. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE.

    So far I lost one car worth $5000.00 at the time of loss due to this device and then was charged $80.00 for this service which I did not order and have been trying to get that subscription money back since it suddenly posted to my bank account this past March! I do not recommend this device to anyone and never will! It’s a ripoff!! If you can afford to lose a vehicle that is your choice! There is no way to contact this company! I think they will continue to charge me with this fee until I die! I wouldn’t give them even one star but I have to to be able to post it !!!!
  • App interface is very clunky

    Doesn’t follow iOS human interface guidelines and the flippy animations everywhere are pointless and obnoxious. Tapping in most places (even just to scroll) brings up a dialog that pushes the premium subscription HARD. I regret buying the hardware before I knew how hard it would be to use this app.

    My car was having a misfire and FIXD told me exactly what was the problem, Got new spark plugs and car runs perfect now! Also like that it told me what the engine codes meant saved me a lot of time.
  • Not compatible with older iOS versions

    I had to switch to my old iPhone 6 as my current iPhone broke and had to learn that the app doesn’t work with previous iOS versions prior to 14.5 . That’s something a developer should keep in mind.
  • Terrible customer service

    They should be giving these away or paying people to take them. After purchasing the item it never worked and all their customer service wanted to do is get me to upgrade to a monthly subscription. Multiple problems but no help from the company. Totally disgusted.
