I just recently downloaded the app a week from the ending of March. When the 1st of April hit, my balance said $0...and I still had a balance from the previous month. I’m not sure why it wouldn’t transfer the balance over to the next month. I loved the app and was going to buy the premium version, but I’m not even going to use this app anymore once I find one that better fits what I want. I also wonder if maybe there’s a setting I’m not using properly?

I’m having a problem removing thing from and editing my budget. I delete it but got back and it’s still there. It won’t go away. And I’ve tried this over and over again. The app is cool and has really helped me these past two weeks. Can you fix this? It’s frustrating.
  • Beautiful app, poor pricing

I think the format of this app is great, but the subscription pricing is a little high. I personally won’t be paying for it, but I would definitely reconsider if it was a one time fee of $5 to $10.
  • Love it but...

Love this app it has literally all the features I want....but why if I’m trying to save money do I want to spend 5$ on something that I can find other apps to do for free albeit perhaps with one or two things I don’t like? Worth saving that monthly 5$ to not get this app.

I love Buddy. The Devs should consider adding a dark mode and making the premium option a one time payment. That would take this app to the next level.

Love the app to keep track of my expenses. The developer is super open to feedback and continues to make the app even better.

One whole day of planning and working... At first the only glitch I found was that the categories wouldn’t stay where I’d placed them. Then when I was all done 90% of all the data was gone. Unbelievable. Too bad for the app looked really cool and self explanatory. Canceling subscription now.
  • Fantastic app, but iOS only?

This app is one of the most intuitive one out of like a billion expense/budget app I’ve used. I really needed an app that just track my expenses without bank syncing. Bank syncing generates confusing names of purchases, confusing back and forth transactions between my own accounts, and privacy issues. No budget app out there can really “automatically” categorize and show clear budget and spending with bank syncing, no not even Mint (that being said maybe the bank syncing can be an optional function for people who really don’t have time for input). The only thing disappointed me is that it’s iOS only, or that it forces two people to input entry to split expense. My partner, like half the population, uses an Android phone. Just when I thought this app can finally save my life and evens out our household expenses, I realized that he can’t use it. Even if the app doesn’t have android, it can still implement the function like a web app interface, or let me create another user in my household and do all the entry. I understand that the developer probably wants to encourage more people to use the app. But it’s really important not just in this iOS/Android situation, but also in contexts like parents want to budget for their kids or the elderly in the household.

But. $34.99 a year or $4.99 a month just to have premium. Ehhhhhh. I’d rather just pay a fixed amount for forever. Wanted to keep this app but for the price :( no thank you. But other then the price. Seriously a super great app. Exactly what I was looking for.

I love the simple design and how fun it is to update my budget and expenditures. The free service is great. The premium doesn’t really offer much to warrant the monthly payment. After another month or so, I’ll probably buy the yearly service just to contribute. The app is too good to not be rewarded for their efforts. Great job!
