    Very fun and addictive
  • It’s fine...

    By Jwammons
This is a fun game. It’s addictive, has some great hooks, has a nice routine without being too demanding... it’s a great game. I have a rule with games these days: if I have to pay money for it to be fun, it is not a good game. And I’ve been playing for just over a month now, and I feel like I can keep up, and it’s fine. But I have a little beef... 1. Under no circumstances should you ever buy a “data card”. Even the packets for 699 crystals... it’s crap, and you will always wind up disappointed or just plain angry. It’s a cheap jip, and it’s absolutely enraging every time. 2. They introduce characters that leave you few ways of updating or upgrading. Stick to the characters that allow you to earn shards, and ignore the characters that require the purchase of data cards, because as your other characters rise in the ranks, those unique characters become obsolete very, very quickly. 3. Be cautious about your guilds, players are not always friendly to newbies. Otherwise, not a bad game.
  • Used to be great, now it’s just a chore

    By Coopy1982057
This used to be one of my favorite games. I played it everyday until I would run out of energy. Now, I’m level 85 (max) and I can’t compete in either arena at all because I don’t want to spend money to max out the newest characters. It takes weeks to farm anything. The in-game gem packs are RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Each event seems like a bigger cash grab. Also, HOW DOES SHIPS NOT HAVE A SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN OPTION
  • what happened

    By Andrew Swarts
i was playing and got all the way up to level 65 and had at least 5 rows of characters all over level 50 and the game just restarts all the way to the beginning one morning i’m disappointed in all the progress i made i the game
  • Don’t bother

    By Rusthand
Don’t bother with this game unless you plan on paying. I’ve been playing this for a while now and have never seen a game favor itself so much. The galactic march pits the player against unrealistic odds. Enemy characters dodge attacks multiple times and some enemy characters come back to life multiple times. Unless you want a frustrating experience avoid this game. Came back to see if anything had changed. Was killing time and at first it seemed okay. Played a couple days ago and in one match the opposing characters dodged 8 times. Tried again yesterday and wasn’t able to get past the second round in galactic march. Game’s characters were lower level and easily beat my “best” and highest level characters. This game is a joke. If anyone plans on downloading plan on paying or only play if you’re killing time.

    It is a great game
  • Meta Broken

    By MrJFL
Let’s be honest this game is brilliant, fun, addictive and satisfactory, but it lacks fundamental qualities, balancing the characters and the synergies in a way so that most characters are valued in some way, versus never being picked up ever, a great example as of now would be JT Rey, she is very strong an is used in many high level setups, but off meta picks like tuskens are complete garbage and not worth getting even in the low levels, as the synergy is bad and they have no good abilities to counter or compete against even medium level teams. If you want to climb the ranks, you have to farm to become a part of the meta, I personally run an off-meta team of clones since (personally) I like their synergy and strength. Onto another topic, the era balance, it doesn’t exist. We all know about the 3 Star Wars eras, Republic/Separatists, Rebellion/Empire and Resistance/First Order, however the amount of empire and rebel characters MASSIVELY outweigh the other eras with unknown and unnecessary characters like “pao” a rebel who nobody uses, “mob enforecer” garbage unknown character, etc, The Devs simply need to balance the eras of Star Wars and make use of the unused characters as counters or competitors to the meta teams. Overall like I stated at first I love the game, but it can be frustrating with the Broken meta.
  • Slot machine with an SW skin

I've had this review at 1-star for a while now, and I keep playing. The Last Jedi reminded us that a spark of hope can ripple through the galaxy. This game has a lot of problems. Recently, the Devs opened up to the players and took some questions. It sounds like they're trying, but there's a fine line between explaining your reasoning and being obstinate. They have plans to make changes in the coming months. I have hope that things will get better. That's the nicest thing I can say about this game. Does it make sense? Not really. It's just playing holochess without the cool dejarik pieces. There are challenges and guilds and pay to play. The longer you play, the better your squads will be. It's a mobile app; what did you expect?
  • Best Game On iOS!

    By Brianpbaer
No game offers more longevity and development as you continue to level up and get more characters, as well as grows in challenges! I reached the max level 85 like six months ago, and I found out that there is so much more that I wasn’t even able to begin starting with till that point. As well as I have like 20 characters at max level (not gear though) and I am still very motivated to work on collecting and working on more, and there is still even a value to do so as far as the game is concerned! This is a absolute must play everyday if you are a Star Wars fan or a just a hardcore gamer!
  • Repetitive and boring

    By AstroBryGuy
How do you make something exciting like Star Wars boring? Well, EA has figured out how. Gameplay reminds me of those old NES games where the strategy was “mash X”. Yawn.
