  • Loving the app

I’m loving the app. Perfect for the Halloween season. I just wish there was an easy way to scroll through Shudder’s entire collection of movies to see what they have. I feel like I’m missing out on some gems because they’re not in one of the ‘collections’. Other than that it’s A+ and some of the original content is great

I would like a wider variety of horror genres and it upsets me to no end that I am unable to cast it.
  • Pretty good.

I’ve experienced both ends of the spectrum. The selection of movies is good. (I’d personally like to see vintage horror from the Universal & Hammer collections).

Love it! Need more! Foreign films are fine! Classics are also great! May I make a suggestion? Get the following movies: Galaxy of Terror Alice Sweet Alice Scanners C.H.U.D. Alligator Mother’s Day April Fools Day Hellraiser (all of them) Halloween (all of them) Day of the Triffids Green Slime The Blob More George Romero, John Carpenter, Clive Barker, Stephen King etc... Keep up the good library!

When you are a Horror Flick Freak like myself it’s not easy feeding the ever growing need for shocking & stimulating entertainment. Have been since I was 4 years old. So I must say it’s not easy scaring me or even amusing me these days but Shudder has exceeded my expectations with a wide array of Horrifically Awesome films that I’ve been searching for for many years. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the Horror Flick Freak! AKA,Melo
  • Great Streaming Service but...

Shudder has a very large selection of horror films and shows, something I am grateful for. But my problem with it is I would like to see more American films like ones from the 80’s or even some of the 90’s. I wouldn’t mind if they included some modern ones like Freaks of Nature.
  • The worst streaming app and service available today.

It’s hard to imagine a streaming service that is less reliable and frustratingly difficult to use. On EVERY occasion of using this app, it is rarely able to perform basic functionality in a consistent and reliable manner. The horror genre belongs in far more capable hands, but until competition arises, you will simply have to endure the mediocrity.
  • Solid content, but not enough

They decided to go further than just horror, which is great. But adding like 5 movies a week, and sometimes most of them being the same series or franchise, is not enough. For 5 dollars a month I could probably buy more movies that I really enjoy than I would out of the 20 or so they release every month. That probably didn’t make much grammatical sense but you get the point. And when are they gonna update the categories like genres and lists? Same movies everytime I’ve looked for the past year. So you release 5 movies a month if we’re lucky, 3 of them are completely in Japanese, and the other 2 are poorly written, yet gritty, indie dramas.
  • Almost there...

I originally subscribed to Shudder for Tales from the Darkside but it was removed. I would like to see more 80s horror films made in the USA and foreign films with the dubbed versions if possible. I’m going to give the channel a chance to add more content from the 80s and 90s. I’m wanting them to add more mainstream and cult classics.
