  • Can’t understand negative reviews

I started using Procreate on my iPad Pro... what an incredible app! I hesitated briefly to spend additional $$ for Procreate Pocket especially after reading the negative comments. Glad I decided to buy. So, it’s certainly not a comparable drawing, painting experience on my iPhone. But then, how could it be. This is a fun way to urban sketch, paint anywhere I find myself hanging out for a few minutes. It’s feature rich for an iPhone drawing app and well worth the few dollars.
  • Great app but not for the iPhone

As much as I love this app I can only personally recommend this to be used with a supported iPad and stylus /Apple Pencil. Phones can’t do this program justice and it’s a shame
  • Abandoned for 2yrs

This app is alright but really starting to show it’s age. The iPad version has had all the developer’s attention and has gained so many improvements... Hopefully v2 isn’t far off.
  • Awesome app!

You may see people reviewing this app with low star rating and a page of why they don’t like the app. Yes it is true that you may not be able to draw a straight line with the mobile app while you can on the iPad version. The mobile app does not have all the functions as the iPad version but it is still a very powerful app to be doing art on your phone. There’s a ton of creative ways to use this mobile app without being able to draw a perfect straight line. I’ve done many art works on the mobile and iPad versions and I’m very satisfied with it.
  • Don’t believe the naysayers!

Great app- not sure why other users are having such a bad experience. When you rate Procreate pocket, you have to do so in context- this is a drawing application for the phone. Its limitations are tied directly to the limitations of the phone, so it’s unfair to compare to an iPad, or a drawing tablet etc. I find this app perfect for what it seems to have been made for: drawing/painting on the go. Whether doing quick sketches or plain-air of something you see that insures you, or a thumbnail of a composition that you want to record for later exploration, this app is perfect. With phones that have force touch, the slight pressure sensitivity makes it even better! My only complaint is how long it’s been sine an update, as having more canvas space for my iPhone X would make this app even better
  • best app i’ve ever bought

    By ICaughtMyself100
when procreate first came out in maybe 2013/2013, i bought it immediately on my ipad bc it looked like an awesome app to work with as an artist - and i was right. i don’t understand how anyone can dislike this app. the interface is amazing, it allows for so much adaptability, it has basically every feature that any competitors have but better. this is an essential for me and i’m so glad it exists!! thanks to procreate/savage interactive for allowing me so many years of creating amazing digital art!!!!
  • Omg I can’t wait

Literally just bought it and it’s amazing! It’s pretty different than the iPad version in terms of some minor functionality. Idk what people are expecting, it’s a POCKET VERSION. And for a huge majority of the drawing apps out there, this totally tops them all in terms of only being a “simplified version.” Also, if you know the short cuts from the pro version, it’s sooo nice to use and convenient. And yes, you NEED to look at the functionality of the app to know how to use it. It has many different opacity settings, brush thicknesses, and so much more. Honestly to the people who say that you can’t do anything with it, they haven’t used the iPad version. It’s purpose it for on the go art, on your phone...let that sink in
  • Couldn't be Better!

I don't know why people are putting this app down so much. It's great, easy to use, and in my opinion, professional quality. I've never drawn digitally but "Procreate" is helping me draw professional-looking art, and I couldn't be happier with it. Best birthday present I got by far!
  • A great scaled down version of perfection

    By ORHobbes
Procreate in the iPad is epic. Some people get frustrated thinking it’s a sketching or design app. But that’s not where it shines. Procreate is more of a painting app than design app. (ie, no text or shape tools, but infinite paint and texture tools) Taking all of that and putting it on the iPhone is tough. But this pocket version is the best small screen painting app I’ve seen.
  • Bought it and can't even use it

There is literally nothing showing besides the create a new canvas option and the color wheel. No tools, no undo, no anything. Waste of money. If I wanted a garbage app I would've went for something that didn't cost me money.
