  • What happened with the compass?

    By suzannelovescats
I got the app a few nights ago and was totally jazzed with the graphics and the beauty of the whole night sky experience it gave. Tonight however, the compass is totally reversed... North is South and West is East. It also is doing this on my iPhone. How can this be fixed so I can give back the 5 star rating?

  • Great, but should have the NCP and SCP for photography

Great, but should have the NCP and SCP for photography. It has to be doable.
  • Incredible!!!

I love the way when you tap on ISS it plays the part where Neil Armstrong says “Thats one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” I thought that as a suggestion that when you tap on the planets it plays their sound, you can look on youtube for it, also one more thing, on mars where it shows the curiosity mars Rover I think can be a better 3D model of him because to be honest it doesn’t really look like him, but other than that me being a NASA and astronomy person like me this app will really be the perfect one for you!👍
  • Gorgeous App

  • Love it!!

Love to show things to my kids with this app. Every Summer we go to a remote Florida beach and look at the stars, planets and Milky Way. We never go to bed without seeing at least three shooting stars (meteorites). I explain to them that we and everything we see is made of stardust. Helps to keep adolescent foibles into perspective.
  • Not as good as original

I fell for the sales and marketing push to buy the new version. Paid the entry price, but got constant ads to buy all the add ons. Paid for the add ons just to get rid of the constant nuisance. Lacks the event menu of the original. The 3D artwork might impress a new comer, but it is a waste.
  • Can’t find direction

Points east when I face west.
  • Good, but could be better.

After paying $2.99 for the app, I was very surprised to see they I needed to pay another $2.99 to get satellites! I don’t really think that this app is really that different to most of the other apps out there - especially when paying so much for it. One suggestion that would be really nice, is to have the satellite labels in a different color to be able to easily distinguish them.
