Google Sheets (and the rest of their office products) work very well through a browser on MacOS, however with each update Google seems to be crippling the iOS versions (Sheets, Docs, Slides). Cut-and-paste with keyboard shortcuts used to work, now don't (and haven't been fixed despite several updates). Entering text in a spreadsheet cell bounces the screen distractingly up and down and then erases the contents in the cell fairly consistently. Features disappear from one version to the next. Unfortunately, now I cannot use iOS Chrome to access documents (I could before). I can't imagine the smart and talented engineers at Google are crippling their own iOS app, but it sure seems like it.
  • Good, But Not AWESOME

Sheets' overall usefulness is lovely & amazing, but as a highly skilled Excel user i am sometimes frustrated by its limitations, especially on my mobile devices. Would i rather have Sheets than not have it? YES!
  • Force quits app, refuses to open documents

This is the second time I've tried using this app and the first time I deleted it because I I only needed it to view excel sheets and it wouldn't let me see parts of the sheet. This time around I can't edit the sheet without it force quitting on its own and I can't open the document until I force quit the app each time.

I use Sheets to track many things and being able to access it on the go saves me so much time!

Easy to use, I like the cross-plate form use. Nice to be able to edit on PC, tablet, or phone. So easy to access the document from any device. Also love the ability to send the link to other’s so that anyone can add to the sheet that I have made.
  • Keeps Crashing

Basically that. I have redownloaded the app twice in the past week (have used it without a hitch for the last two years) and both times it has worked for probably a half hour, if that, and then glitched, and won't respond after that. I keep a pretty major database of info on the app, so it's kind of imperative that it continue to function.
  • Almost Amazing

Constantly crashes and has to be restarted. It randomly goes back to an earlier date from the document and does not show new additions. Does not allow you to go back to a previous date on the app. Almost great. Needs to be fixed.

Being able to access and edit spreadsheets in a consistent and feature-rich environment across platforms and devices is incredibly useful, and definitely one of those things that makes me say ‘2017 is pretty awesome’. Thank you for all the hard work needed to keep this working smoothly (and constantly improving) through iOS/Windows/android updates updates and changes!
