Learn Spanish, French, Italian, German, and many more languages with Babbel. Developed by a team of language learning experts, Babbel has helped millions of people speak a new language with confidence. THE BABBEL METHOD Here’s what makes Babbel more effective than any other language learning app: 1. Confidence — Our goal is to get you speaking from your very first lesson. And our elegantly designed courses give you the confidence to get there. We teach you how to engage in practical, everyday conversations, making it easier for you to have authentic experiences in your new language. 2. Comprehension — Our lessons immerse you in relevant culture and real-life conversations. We want you to really take in the language, not just memorize useless phrases. And we provide helpful hints in English (or your native language) to make your new language more relatable. 3. Retention — We know you’re busy. That’s why our lessons are short but sweet: about 10-15 minutes, and designed to send your new language straight to long-term memory. We regularly refresh your memory with our dynamic review sessions, which target areas where you need improvement most. Finally, we make sure you really grasp what you’re learning by bringing it back later in a new context. • So sad

    By jenna7363828
Its cool in all but I wanted to learn japanese or korean and they didn’t have it💔😭😭
  • Unsubscribed and still got billed...

The App is solid however, Babble needs to re-evaluate the ease in which someone can cancel a membership. I was forced to have Amex block them to stop the charges.
  • Help? Fix this app

    By Hehehejidns
The app is broken because I can’t even use it. I bought the subscription to use it, and it just says error try again later, and it’s been saying this for 2 days now fix it because if you guys don’t what your doing is illegal, since your taking my money, and it’s false advertising. So fix it.
  • Love it!

Much more informative than duolingo! I purchased the premium version and I am definitely impressed! The only Complaint is that there is an equivalent to "ui" (NL) which is the "ou" in ouch
  • Never started

It asked for my exact age without giving me a contract agreement or an explanation as to why it needed my age. I was fine giving an age range (for voice recognition) but then it asked for my exact age. I would be fine giving it if I had an explanation as to why, but going right in and having my first question be my age was a bit of a turn off.
  • Not a good app

    By JC 702
I do not like the main learning method making learn how to spell words in a foreign language. I just want to learn conversation skills. This app is not what I was looking for. Waste of my money
  • Frusterating

    By okayymarisa
I got very frustrated when it did the listen and repeat because it would never say it’s right even thought I said it correctly. Like goodbye and thanks in Spanish, I said it correctly but it doesn’t give me time to say it or anything. Everything else is good. But I don’t really suggest this if you get frustrated.

Im impressed with the app. Just being able to hear and rehear words being pronounced got my 5-star rating. I definitely know education-years of school AND teaching-so, as learning a new language goes- they’ve sure made it doable AND affordable.

I love the app. I tried to learn French in high school but that was a total failure. This is so repetitive that things really stick. I love how you practice speaking, writing and all the different categories. The only things I wish I could do is when it asks for you to speak if you could hear it again to be able to test you pronouncing it. Also, I wish there was an area to see all the courses you downloaded, instead of having to search in each section for them, and knowing what level of course it is before you download.
  • Just one thing

I would like shorter pauses on some exercises. When I am confident of an answer, I would like to move along more quickly.
