At azcentral and The Arizona Republic, your story is our story. We’re the biggest newsroom in Arizona. We’ve won a Pulitzer Prize. We serve the largest audience in Phoenix. But none of that matters as much as this fundamental idea: We’re here to seek the truth, to understand the world around us, and to understand one another. APP FEATURES: • Access all of The Arizona Republic’s in-depth coverage of Phoenix, including things to do around town and analysis of the Suns, Cardinals, Dbacks, Wildcats, Sun Devils, and more. • Enjoy a streamlined, fast-loading experience that makes it easy to view the stories, photos, and videos that matter to you. • Get breaking news, sports scores, and weather alerts with real-time notifications tailored to your interests. • Customize your experience by saving your favorite stories, adjusting text size, using night mode, or reading offline. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION: • The azcentral app is free to download and all users can access a sampling of free articles every month. • For unlimited access to all content, subscribe now and get 30 days free ($4.99/month after). Or if you are already a subscriber to The Arizona Republic, you can sign in with your existing subscription. • New subscriptions are charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renew each month or year, unless turned off in your iTunes account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. It is very annoying that ihave to sign in every day. I canunderstand once in a while but not every day
  • Balanced

Although I read the paper to keep up locally with what's happening, the paper has become biased. Instead of just reporting the news, it tends to lean toward a more liberal socialist view. I love Phoenix, I love to keep up with what's going on, but I just want straight news and to decide for myself the political outcome thoughts.
  • Just another subscription site now.

    By Andy in Arizona
If I were to subscribe to every news outlet for news (e.g. WAPO, WSJ, New York Time, various other local outlets) I would be spending well over $100 a month. Cheaper to just watch the news on TV.
  • Bait and Switch

Here’s their business model: Send you a notification on a story. You click into it and you see a little of the article and several ads. Then, if you want to read the entire article, you have to subscribe. You literally are seeing their ads, which generates revenue for them, but they won’t let you read the article unless you pay them money. Buh-Bye AZ Central… you’ve been deleted!
  • Does not work consistently

Whenever I try to change anything its either down or doesn’t go through. It is very frustrating. It’s down right now. Wont let me sign in.
  • Love the alerts

    By Lvdolphins12
I love receiving the alerts on my phone. I keep up with the news that way.
  • Too many ads

    By jh85255
On a iPad too much of the screen is taken up with flashing ads. I already paid for a subscription so why should I have to look at ads?
  • AZcentral review

I have only used this app a short time, but I am impressed, news articles are accurate, and to the point and are not biased or too wordy; thank you!!!!! How ever you should make it easier to send this critique

  • Great app

This app thinks ahead and picks news of importance to you based on past history. Easy to use, in some ways easier than the print version .
