I own the Explore Air and now the Cricut Maker. I have had no issues with my iPad nor phone. I rarely use my phone to design anyhow because the intricate details of design, and the phone screen is small. I have in the past used my phone , but not enough in the now to complain about issues. I used my desktop more. I at the now have no complaints - but to state that computer designs will have its flaws due to technology growth at the speed of light. So I say - have patience it will be corrected soon enough.

This is a great Cricut app. Once you learn the basics it’s easy! I use the iPad app for ready made projects.

This app is so handy. I love being able to work with my Maker from my iPad. The only problem I have is some fonts on my Mac are not always on my iPad. This is an inconvenience when I do a project on my iMac and go to cut it from my iPad and I get the message that the font does not exist. Other than that everything else is great and I highly recommend the Maker, this app and everything involved.

I have had the Cricut Explore for about two weeks and I still have not been able to cut a stencil yet. First of all I tried to connect with my computer with the usb and it never connected and then I decided to use my iPhone and I had to purchase a Bluetooth adapter to use with my phone . I uploaded my images but unable to cut my image. So far, I am completely unimpressed.

This program does a good job about 90% of the time the problem is the other 10% of the time it has horrible lags doesn’t work and or doesn’t connect properly. it can be incredibly frustrating especially when your brand new to cricut but I have noticed the same problem when I am on my computer as on my phone device so I’m assuming it’s an issue that’s widespread.

I love my cricut air 2 machine with all the wonderful things that I can make with it, however I hope the option to curve text in design space for the iPad is coming soon.

  • Many promises, crap software, finicky hardware

I keep getting an error that I cannot download offline content even when I’m not trying to and it pops up so fast and frequently that the app is unusable. I have repeatedly reinstalled and updated the app and it still doesn’t work. Even before this issue the app was difficult to use and the online software is not much better. This combined with the finicky machine is enough to decide cutting things out with scissors or an x-a cto knife might be faster. The only thing it does really well is cut scrapbooking paper. You can pretty much bet that you will have an issue either with the sw or machine in every project, even the simplest. It’s very likely that the software will give you an error or the Bluetooth won’t work, or the blade won’t have the right pressure to cut all the way through despite the hundreds of preprogrammed settings. All this wasting not only time but ruining expensive materials. It promises so much, getting your hopes up only to leave you frustrated, disappointed, and feeling cheated out of money with no avenue for customer support.
