Description

MTG Trades gives you the tools you need for trading Magic cards, right at your fingertips. It includes card prices by expansion or card name, lets you evaluate trades and view your trade history, store a watchlist of wanted cards, and allows you to track cards you have loaned or borrowed. Features: • View price information for every physical Magic card by individual printings. • The most complete database: supports non-foil and foil pricing for all cards, including promo cards, tokens and emblems. • Download database and automatic prices updates from within the app, for offline use. • Save cards to various Want Lists so you always know what you're looking for during trades and how much they're worth. • Want Lists show total value and can be sorted alphabetically, by price or by rarity. • Enter cards or cash in a new Trade to quickly evaluate the equity of the trade. • Store a history of your past trades along with current and at-the-time price information. • Track cards you have lent out or borrowed from other people. • Prices are aggregated from a range of online stores courtesy of TCGplayer.com (doesn't yet support "market" prices as these aren't yet available to developers). • Complete iCloud syncing. • Supports Dynamic Type for altering text size. • Universal app for iPhone and iPad. • Supports iPad multitasking on compatible models. This app has been carefully designed to be simple and fast to use. If you have any suggestions for improvements, please suggest them via twitter (@MTGApps) or the website - http://www.mtgapps.com/ This app is not produced or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast, Inc.

In my history of playing, this app has provided a one stop shop for up to date trading prices, an option to buy from tcgplayer immediately, save trade history, and a tab to keep track of cards loaned. Everything needed for the Grand Prix grinder needs to keep track of high value cards or floor trade without making a spreadsheet.

I use the trades and want list features almost daily, they work great for pricing and collecting data. Tear open 10 packs and want to add up the value? Create a want list and even check back weeks later to see if the value has changed. Best feature is offline data for oracle text and prices, invaluable if you will be playing without internet access. Worth every penny Only feature request would be a way to see price trends in the app (and even better, a "trending now" section so I can see which cards recently spiked etc.)

Easy to use, always up to date, includes promo cards...I can’t think of anything bad to say about it.

This app is great most of the time. It is missing the capability to add Un-set and other special lands to trades. This is a critical flaw for anyone that trades these lands. When you are adding cards to trades you cannot see the value for cards until you add them to the trade. So you need to add all the versions to the trade to see the value of each version. Same goes for adding cards to want lists. The value is on the search list for other parts of the app. Every card is NM as far as this app is concerned. When trading old cards like legacy staples where the conditions are rarely NM, this app is useless in assisting the trade.
  • Great app for MTG

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the app could use a trade binder section showing the cards you have to trade without having to look for them. Everything else about the app is flawless. It runs very smoothly and fast with no lag. Thanks for making it!
