I think this is a great app and I highly recommend this app. We all grieve in our own ways, and at our own pace….. I have lost way too many loved ones over the years, this app helps to bring closure, peace and comfort to such a difficult part of life.

Findagrave is free and provides a useful service to family researchers. Without it, I would never have figured out where some of my ancestors got to. Volunteers who don’t mind looking for various graves are very helpful. I’ve started volunteering myself, to help others who may not be able to travel at this time.

I wish the app showed pending edits we have submitted. And a list of approved or rejected edits and what those edits were. We may mistakenly suggest an edit that we later discover is wrong and it’s difficult to remember what memorials to go back to and suggest corrections with new supporting evidence. The app could help us by showing it on a tab for us. Thanks for considering.

I really enjoy the interaction with others and contributing to a purposeful database. I can do more on the desktop version than the app, for example: asking for a memorial to be transferred, but overall this is a good app. Easy to navigate and contribute to.

I’m disappointed that I can’t read messages from other researchers on the app.
  • Transfer Ownership of Memorials

Why can people transfer ownership of Memorials without the receiving person accepting ownership? I’ve had several transferred to me that I don’t request and don’t accept. I just get a notice of the transfer.
