  • I used to love this game

Okay, I've been playing this game for several years now (I remember the Beauty and the Beast event happened shortly after I started) and I've got to say it's been going massively downhill lately. First, there is the major problem of the change in Happiness. I used to always have my Happiness at the top tier ( Ecstatic) around 99%(since it'd go to 100% then drop instantly to 99%) and I could keep it there if I played all day. If I didn't, because life, I could easily get it back up there because of chests and the quests that give the happiness balloons. But then you took that away. Happiness drops way to fast and the balloons give 1 point of happiness. 1 point? When I get like 20 quests maybe a day for happiness, when the chest no longer give happiness, and when happiness falls so fast? I'm lucky to stay at the bottom of the 2nd highest tier (Joyous) and can not, no matter what I do get back to Ecstatic. (I got close when you changed how chests work and I opened all of mine, got to the 90's% of Joyous but then I had to wait for more happiness and my happiness dropped, rather swiftly back down to the 10's%) And I don't get why you changed this. You seemed to imply it was to somehow make the drop rates on tokens batter. Well, it obviously hasn't since I can't get to the top tier which means that I can't get the top % of help on drop rates. My drop rates are as bad as they ever were if not worse. Which leads me to my next problem. Why are all the tokens so hard to get? Like everything that comes out now is "rare" or "epic" or even "legacy" making it super hard to get and then to level characters. What happened to "common" and "uncommon" levels? Like sure I could see in the original characters that like 1 character in the group would be harder to get for whatever reason, but now it's all the characters. The only thing that is keeping me playing this game (because of how bad it's gotten) is my wish to get all my characters to level 10. But this is proving to be impossible. Partly because of my 3rd complaint. Too many timed events. When I first started playing there would be months between timed events so I had time to work on the actual storyline. And I had time to level up the timed event characters. Then the timed events happened a little sooner, but I could generally get the last set of timed events levelled up by the time the current timed event was over or a little after. Annoying but okay. Now though I'm still working on levelling the Wreck-it Ralph characters, and the Princess and the Frog characters, and the Moana characters. Why? Because you make us get a million of the little 1 hour tokens now, and because all their other tokens are at such a low drop rate. This is so dumb. I'd rather get the characters to 10 and then put them on the quests that have fun animation (or put them away because too many characters out lags the game). And I'm not even talking about the tower event characters because I've gotten like 1 or 2 of them because I refuse to use my gems to speed up the process so never finish. And at the end of the event, you take all the event currency away and give me some gems (but not nearly enough to make up for my efforts). It's absolutely ridiculous, and if you are going to make it that hard to get the currency you could at least let us keep it (and the hot chocolates) for the other tower events so that every once in a while we could choose to get one of the special characters. I don't have much of a life, I work from home, but a game shouldn't be something I'm a slave to just to finish an event. And the harder it is to finish the events the less I want to play the game. After the insanity of the Moana timed event my husband and I calculated up how much real money we spent on the event so we could finish it (Moana being a favourite movie) and we realized we were spending way too much in "microtransaction" for these events and have agreed to never spend real money again. I'd rather buy a full-on video game with that money. It's not our fault you've made the game too difficult. So basically, please fix the game back to its early days. Less timed events and more permeant content. Fewer tokens needed for characters (and more characters that can get the tokens) and easier happiness levels. Please.

Love this game but, feel that Disney and the game makers make you spend way too much money for what should be geared for children. If you have not started this game I would let it stay that way. I have seen too many upset children from this game because they are unable to get some of their favorite characters. Just one more disappointing mark on the Disney trademark....greed.

Feels like they care more about making a profit than about how fun the game is to play and experience. Just read any other review.
  • They don’t care about their players!

I’m updating my review! So I’m moving them from 1 Star to 3 stars. They have attempted to make things better. The happiness is better it’s not as good but at least it’s not impossible anymore. The different chests are cool takes some of the annoying things out! No more trying to get big stuff and get a clover or bench! Plus in the lion king tower challenge the adjusted the super high price! They are starting to listen. I don’t mind spending money from time to time but I don’t like feeling like it’s turning into a money grab but I’ve spent so much money on this game I just keep pushing through!

It takes forever to earn enough money for expansions since the price makes such a major jump each time. Even if you play every hour 12 hours a day it could take weeks to earn enough. All while you keep earning stuff to go in the kingdom but no where to put it. If you do it’s crowed and not grouped well. And now with the maleficent event, unless you have all the characters all ready, you won’t be able to earn enough to buy the main prize. You probably won’t even earn enough for the second phase prizes because of the price jump in if now.
  • Used to be fun

The updates have shown that Gameloft is a predatory company. They are only interested in getting as much money as they can from a Disney product and then dumping it like their other failures.
  • Greedy and impossible to win events 😡🤬

The developers don’t listen to their customers!! Not only is it impossible to get old characters without spending money or gems but you aren’t even guaranteed to get a character. Land is so expensive!! Completing events is nearly impossible. You have to play all day long and spend money. It is not a good game for people with jobs or a life. 🙄 😡😡😡
