  • Start your day in the right frame of mind

Relaxing, contemplative start to each new day with gratitude and blessings! It’s what the world needs now.
  • Unbiblical teaching may be presented here. Be vigilant.

I downloaded this app and chose to listen to the first thing that popped up in my screen. It was the Daily meditation or devotion, and the subject was righteousness. I chose the 2 minute experience and was presented with a story that gave an incorrect definition of righteousness, that was completely out of balance. It claimed that righteousness was about living a life making good choices in order to be in right standing with God. It made no mention of the fact that as believers, Jesus is our Righteousness and we can’t earn it with our actions. It proceeded to discuss a hypothetical situation in which a person’s secrets might get exposed and asked the listener to imagine how that would feel. Ended with a prayer asking God for help to make right choices in order to live a righteous life. This is misleading and unbiblical. This teaches a works-based theology, rather than grace-based. There is nothing we can do to be in right standing with God besides believe in and choosing to follow Jesus. I would be very wary of using this app in the future and would never ever recommend to a new believer, one who is struggling, or someone without extensive scriptural knowledge. If the very first thing I heard had a major red flag like that, I worry that there may be many other problematic teachings as well. If you choose to use this app, be aware prepared that you might not be hearing sound biblical teaching, and be prepared to measure it against scripture. Update: The app developers replied to my review without even addressing the issue I brought up. I stand by my original comment concerning unbalanced and unbiblical teaching, and I don’t think it’s ok to make excuses for unbalanced content, even 2 minutes worth of it, especially since the vast majority of people who will hear the “meditations,” are not paying for the subscription, but using the free version. Nobody should have to pay to avoid being misled. I don’t believe that they are trying to mislead intentionally, they just need to be more careful when trying to create content that will fit in a 2 minute time slot and can be taken out of context. I’ll leave this text to clarify what I mean about the unbalanced/unbiblical meditation I heard on the app. This is from Romans 3:10b-12, 21-24, and is just one example to address this issue: “There is no one righteous, not even one. 11There is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. 12All have turned away; they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one. 21But now, apart from the law, the righteousness of God has been revealed, as attested by the Law and the Prophets.22And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. ***I do appreciate the response from the developers, but it did not answer my concerns, but I wish them well as they continue to develop their content and pray that they are blessed and continue to be directed by God in their endeavors.

I acquired this app with the one week free trial and new the first evening, with the first meditation I used (on the twenty third psalm) I would LOVE this app. This is truly an answer to my prayers to have bible based meditations! I know it costs more than most, but if it will keep this stable and updated I am all for it. I have used several other apps in the past that are biblically based and they have disappeared. The designers did not keep them up to date and now they won’t work in my phone. Try this....you will not regret it.
  • You would be better off on your knees with a Bible in your hand.

    By Дональд Трумп
While I want to see God’s people pray, these prayers and guided meditations are weak. They are theologically light and are spoon feeding people things that should be coming from the heart. This seemed more like yoga than the gospel. I’m the “wretch” the song refers to. As I walk the narrow path of repentance I need to abide in the Mighty Fortress that our God is. I need to feast on the riches of his grace that was accomplished on the cross for me, not hear “ten steps to purpose,” or some similar worldly garbage. If you want to listen to something I would recommend you listen to sermons from John MacArthur or Alister Begg on YouTube. If you want to pray do it on your knees with a Bible in hand.
  • Absolute favorite App on my phone!

This app has been a Godsend to me. I struggle with insomnia and anxiety and listening to this every night brings a sense of peace and calm into my bedroom when I’m going to sleep! I’m resting much better and starting my day every morning with the daily meditation. Thank you so much!
  • Wish it was free like the Bible app you version!

    By Jesus saved me.
When I downloaded this app I was so encouraged and excited to get started, but then I saw it was a trial and had to delete the app. I wished it was free.
  • Peaceful sleep worth every penny

    By 2anxious2sleep
My first year subscription is about to renew and I don’t have to give it a second thought. So valuable!! If I’m feeling anxious and can’t fall to sleep, I turn one of the comforting sleep options on and almost always fall right to sleep. I started listening to the daily meditation before work and it has made each day so much better. Very helpful for anxiety.

Have to agree with comments disappointment for price of this app
  • 7 dat trial only

    By Shopper600
I really think it’s a bait and switch when you download an app and think that you get to use it for free but it’s only a seven day trial and then it’s $40 a year. I think that’s ridiculous. Other meditation apps have parts of it that are totally free and not just for seven days. I am mediately uninstalled the app and won’t be using it. I don’t care how good it is. My bible is free!!
