We strive to make studying more efficient by redefining how you prepare for your promotion exams. Create customized practice tests, view detailed answer rationales, and review your results with just a few taps! 2015 Academics’ Choice “Smart Media” award winner 2016 EdTech Digest “Cool Tool” award winner The Science Behind Mobile Learning: Overloading your brain with too much information at once is a common study mistake. Research has shown that smaller, more frequent study sessions are the key to knowledge retention. In other words, taking short quizzes on the go is a much more effective means of exam preparation than reading page after page in a textbook. Apps offer the benefit of interaction, which means you’re far more likely to remember a concept you engage with rather than one you’ve only read about. Like it but it needs to be specific to the course needs of the cours.
  • Glitching!

I love the app, it is making me feel more and more confident about testing. Last couple weeks I've been running into an issue when trying to create practice tests. After I select whether I want to know the answer as I go or find out my score at the end, the option to choose a section to test on does not come up. It's just a blank white screen. I tried restarting the app a few times and still doesn't get fixed. I have a few more weeks until I test, I need this issue resolved. This app has never disappointed. Thank you
  • Ok, but wouldn't get it again

I tested for TSgt this year after using this app and I don't plan on using it again. I exhaustively used this app for studying almost exclusively, (without reading much directly from the PDG) because the practice quizzes on PDG Advisor worked really well for me in testing for Staff - I promoted my first year. I went through every question in this app at least once if not more times. I wasn't looking to spend another $60 so I went with this, much cheaper, app. The lesson here is you get what you pay for. While I thought the questions were good and effective as I studied, once I was taking the test everything just seemed so foreign. There were maybe three questions that were familiar. I realize a lot of people feel this way even after studying, so there is that aspect to consider, but I felt even less prepared than I had when I tested for Staff and I had only studied for a few days using Advisor. This app I used religiously for two months. Other things that make this app less convenient are 1 - no division of rank-specific material, so I would get questions for MSgt etc. 2 - no MKTS ratings. The interface and structure of the app are great. It's just the actual material, the questions, that were a complete miss for me. I have yet to receive results on promotion but if I get it I'll chalk it up to luck and aptitude for multiple choice tests.

This app is great. It need the ability to pick the rank one is testing for.

Love the app. Especially the metrics it gives for how you're doing in each chapter. If there was one thing I would like to see added, it would be to make the tests/study guide more specific to each rank.

I like how it's only 10 questions at a time. You can take a short quiz 3 or 4 times a day versus a 2 hour cram session.
  • Great study aid!

Easy to set up and questions are formatted similar to actual test.
