Research has shown that smaller, more frequent study sessions are the key to knowledge retention. In other words, taking short quizzes on the go is becoming a much more effective means of exam preparation than reading page after page in a textbook. Apps offer the benefit of interaction, which means you’re far more likely to remember a concept you engage with rather than one you’ve only read about. Take your GED® studies with you, no matter where life takes you. Get Started for Free: We provide a limited free version so you can get a feel for the app before deciding to upgrade. • Yes, I paid for it and no, it’s not great.

UPDATE: this app is broken after ios14. It’s SLOW as molasses on the iPad (like 60+ seconds to switch from one tab to another, and totally unresponsive in the mean time), and it crashes upon completing a quiz, losing the quiz results. And to make matters worse, it lost all of the previous data following the update, so two months of progress lost. What a waste of $20. Don’t pay for this app. — Feels kind of like a cash grab. The app itself, the interface and everything are ok. Nothing special, but it’s functional. But the actual content is strung together with dental floss. Just as a simple example: exponents aren’t formatted like exponents. They’re just a slightly smaller version of the regular number character, which in some cases makes it near impossible to actually solve the problem. There’s a lot of that sort of thing. The explanations are also incredibly low effort and generally unhelpful. Like say you miss a math problem and want to understand why, it’s going to give you an incredibly esoteric explanation that doesn’t really teach or refresh anything. They could have included a “go and study [concept]...” but instead it’s just this robotic definition and nothing else. This app really does nothing of value for free. So if you’re looking for free, move along. This isn’t the one. For a one time $20 payment, it’s fine I guess. But as far as what an app like this could be, and what other educational apps already are, it’s pretty much the minimum possible effort to get people to spend money, and the result is just barely on useful side of garbage.
  • Don’t buy

If you want to study specific subjects, you can’t. There is no context to prepare you for the quizzes. They throw questions at you with no refreshers, and there is no notepad you can use in the app to help answer questions.
  • Thank you!

I know it may seem silly but I hate subscriptions lol I’d rather be able to choose other than that I’m loving it
  • Suggestion??

    By pndlover
Maybe try putting more free activities we already have to pay for the ged test itself. Just a suggestion..

  • Worst Usability

Don’t download it if you think you’ll be able to study with specific GED subjects for free. This app clearly doesn’t allow you to study freely rather force to buy PREMIUM version with lame user experience although this app based in IAP.
