  • Where’s my coach?

    By cole143ie
The app itself has potential but I’m in for the full experience. My coach messages me intruding herself she speaks German ( I don’t speak German) so I’ve tried messaging her back or anyone, there is no way to contact someone about my issue of needing an English speaking coach .
  • It’s not a fad

    By Kelleah
Noom is just about having good sense. It gives you help using that sense. I find it encouraging and easy to use. I like me that it’s a little more involved than just a log for monitoring food and exercise. I would encourage anyone to at least try it for a few weeks.
  • Charge

    By lssrg
I canceled my subscription and I still got charged $129. There is no easy way to contact them about the issue. And I can’t even access my account with them because they can see the email address on file. Terrible. And crazy expensive. Still waiting for Noom support center to contact me. I don’t even have the option to not rate them.
  • Weeks in & too many tasks

    By ceciliaismyfavesong
At first, the articles, surveys, and tasks were fun. Now I am 4 weeks in and although I have lost over 10 lbs, the amount of info thrown at the user every, single day is overwhelming. It’s as though every other day is a new challenge. B1tch, I didn’t even make it through the last challenge! Oh, and the acronyms are a bit much. Tone it down on the acronyms or have them clickable to remind the user what they stand for. The barcode scanner needs work. I have lost weight but due to the above issues, you lose a star. It would’ve been 2 stars if I hadn’t lost as much weight.
  • There when I needed it!

    By Sherry bug
I saw the ad for the noom app at a time when my eating was out of control! I thought why not! I have tried many diets in the past, but this one seemed to be made to fit my lifestyle. I am a busy older lady, working and raising grandchildren. The best part of noom is all of it!!! The counseling, the daily weigh in, and the listing of foods. I need to accountable to someone and noom is like my trainer. I hope to continue on this journey til I am happy with my size.
  • Very good app

    By KTPea
The app works very well and has not crashed or just shut down. There are two things I would like to see changed. 1. Better syncing with my fitbit or other type of health monitoring device. 2. Better scan code information. You need a database similar to what weight watchers has. Something that has nearly everything and is accurate.
  • Skeptic

    By SusanR's
I a retired nurse with a bad back. I’ve tried other diets and diet apps and while I may have had initial success, I’ve hit a plateau where my weight has been stable for over 2 years. The first week on Noom, I lost 2 pounds and I’m learning more about the psychology of weight loss to make my weight loss “stick”.
  • 4 weeks and still going strong

    By Dam08z1
I am in my mid 60s. I have never been on a diet where I’ve been taught how to deal with food. Any time I’ve ever lost weight it’s typically been with protein shakes for breakfast and lunch and a protein and vegetable for dinner. Also drinking a ton of water. This diet deals with psychology sociology and science of how your body deals with food. I’ve now been on it for four weeks I’m eating healthy. I also have had a couple of bumps in the road. But had no problem jumping right back in to the program. Yes I was skeptical when I began. I think this is why they give you the first two weeks free before charging you. But I was happy to pay the money for it after those first two weeks. It is $25 a month. And they do charge you for six months upfront. But I’m happy. If nothing else seems to work for you and you need the support of a goal coach and a support group this is the program for you.
  • F*** this!!!!

    Don’t use this
  • Best way to change habits for life!!

    By Hellokt74
I have struggled for years and now I am finally losing weight. I’m not on a diet. I’m changing my relationship with food and thinking differently. It’s a psychological approach and helps one get to the root of the issues behind overeating. I’m losing a pound a week. That’s a huge accomplishment. Thanks Noom!
