  • A comic book lover's dream come true

When I was a kid, I used to want to take all my boxes of comics with me whenever I had to leave home for an extended period. This app makes that possible. It updates every week with dozens of new (and old) comics. I have thousands of comics to read on a trip or at my local Starbucks. But my favorite part is having access to the comics I couldn't afford to buy as a kid. The library is huge and always growing. The interface is good and the reader even better. I've discovered so many great stories since I subscribed. And I finally got a chance to read the Captain America "Secret Empire" story! I've been subscribing for about three years now with no plan to stop.
  • Horrible app and even worse customer service

App constantly crashes, logs and locks you out or just endlessly loads. Asked costumer service what was going on. I told them I was trying to use the app on the newest iPad, they told me to just try it on an android. ‘Nuff said.
  • Most used app on my phone.

I can’t put this app down. I read comics every day now. Thanks to marvel unlimited I’ve been able to read so many issues I’ve lost count, where before this I would have never been able to afford to buy how many comics I have read. Don’t get me wrong I have a collection of my favorites like the venom and carnage series or the iron wars saga, but I can’t get enough of reading them on my computer or phone. Here are a few issues with the offline downloads where sometimes if you have downloaded so many books and you have very bad service that is in and out it will sometimes delete the offline saves. Even after you turn your phone on airplane mode. But it’s ok as long as you have WiFi or decent. Word to the wise; try the one month free trial. Cancel it in your subscriptions the next day so it doesn’t auto charge next month. And if you really like it go online on a computer and get the year subscription through their desktop site. Save you about 40$-50$

It rarely works. I can’t believe they charge money for this.
  • I’ve thrown money in the trash for months on this

Bad reviews but I thought I’d try the trial. I had a great time reading the Planet Hulk and decided to keep the app. After the trial ended I have been able to read maybe one comic. The loading time is impossible. I can’t tell if it’s making progress or not. I’ve left my iPad Pro on for an hour straight with no luck. I was about to cancel it but then there was an update that supposedly addressed this issue. Another month another handful of money in the trash. My phone can’t get anything to work either. I could have bought a hundred comics by now. So irritating.
  • When you update, uninstall + reinstall!

Otherwise comics may not load on the app. As for the app, the interface is not that great, but it is better than the non existent interface on the desktop platform. The main appeal is the access to and viewing of the comics on mobile, and the app meets the minimum requirements (although just barely) in this regard

I use this app almost everyday. I've read thousands of comics through mostly my iPad That said, it's not without its many, many glitches and quirks. Pages often fail to load unless you tilt your screen, leaving the app flips you to the last page of the comic, the "more in" button for comics in a series rarely works, and navigation is far from intuitive to name a few issues. There's a learning curve to this labyrinth. For the price and the convenience though, I'm more than happy. Best $60 I’ve ever spent.
  • It works great.

Works great, has enough comics to spend a lot of time on and the ability to download comics to read offline is fantastic.
