  • Accuracy needs to be improved

Some stats of celestial bodies may not be accurate enough. For instance, a commonly adopted distance info for Betelgeuse is about 640ly. Although according to Wikipedia such a parameter can take values in the range from 497ly to 789ly, to just put on a smallest possible one seems not a very appropriate move.

Loved this app before the update, but now have flickering “static” that overlays the display. Worse when zoomed out. Ugly and so irritating that it makes the app unusable. This is on a 9.7” original iPad Pro.

This review is of the new update and not skyguide as a whole. I love this app don’t get me wrong, but this update takes away a lot of the beautiful graphics that made sky-guide my favorite astronomy app. It went from polished, beautiful graphics to slightly pixelated, beta-test style graphics. Please bring back the old style. Sincerely a concerned user.

I use to love this app, I used almost every night but after this recent update it’s really difficult to use. I miss the simplicity of the app, please consider adding an option to remove some of the new graphical effects and a FOV lock similar to before. Thanks

I love being able to identify stars and other heavenly bodies. This app even tells me what is below the horizon. Fascinating and enjoyable.
