FF2 was the first RPG game I ever played and this version doesn’t disappoint. Well worth the download. Playing on iPhone 7plus. I’m going to purchase the bundle because this game was so awesome!

  • My first Final Fantasy That got me hooked

I heard Final Fantasy X was the best game my friends had ever played, so I wanted it really bad in the early 2000s, but instead, I got this game. Little did I realize how amazing it was, but after a little while, after playing all of them 1-11 (this is 2003) game, I kind of drifted away from the series. Then, I saw the remake of this game. I am thinking “THIS’LL BE AMAZING!” I got all the games a decade before this remake, and when I played this, I was disappointed. The port isn’t good, the difficulty is bad. What the heck happened to Hit9999 and Max Stats? However, the story is good, and I like how they added voices. Oh well, a few years after this I tried Type 0 and Fifteen and I actually DID get every game in the series.
  • Another Classic Final Fantasy

Great game. If you’ve played any of the other classic final fantasies (V-X), I wouldn’t rank this above any of those, but it is still a great game. As a huge final fantasy fan, I’m especially glad for this port because the only other way to play it was on Nintendo DS, which I don’t own. So thank you Apple, and as always, thank you Square Enix.

The display ratio needs to be updated. It’s been over a year now square.
  • 5 Star But still have a complaint.

I’ve had this game on my iPad for a few years now but am writing this review because of a problem on my 3rd playthrough. I had always planned to try and get all of the augments and best armor and defeat the 2 hidden bosses. Apparently what I’ve read from blogs and have just experienced myself is that on the iOS version they Do Not give out a 2nd limit break augment when you start a new game on the 3rd playthrough. But they do on the DS I guess. Idk I’ve never played a DS. Other than that I absolutely Love this version of my favorite rpg. I could play it over and over again forever. I know the story by heart and where all the treasures are these people who remade it did a perfect job I think. The music goes along perfectly with the story just as it did on the snes. Graphics are awesome too. I love going into the land of summoned monsters, looks great. The small changes to the script are fine and modern.
  • Great game!

I never got to play the original Final Fantasy games (except 6) so this was a fun experience! The game isn’t too easy and I still haven’t beat it (stuck on Barbariccia), but it hasn’t been frustratingly difficult. Generally just a great game!
  • iPhone X??

I want to play this game on my iPhone X because it’s my favorite game of all time but it’s not supported on it? None of the FF titles have iPhone X support and that’s very disappointing because I spent a lot of money on these games! Please add iPhone X support for this game and all the others

Got about 30 mins into gameplay and BGM stopped working. Still can hear battle effects and menu clicking but no BGM (it IS turned on)
