This app should not be used. It calculates fluid volumes incorrectly. For example if calculating maintenance fluid volume for a 10 kg. patient at the accepted rate of 40-60 ml/kg/day the result should obviously be 400-600ml/day. This app comes up with 370 ml. I contacted the company and explained to them the issues and they ignored me. Using this app is dangerous.

I find this useful at times where you need a quick calculation! Also appreciate that it provides the option of calculating fluids based on pounds or kg body weight. Only thing I recommend changes for next time is the app name as it appears on the mobile device. For instance, my app is called "AAH_v11_i,,,," instead of something more straight forward such as "Abbott Fluids" or "Fluids Calculator". This may be me being extremely picky of me, but I always like to provide suggestions for future updates!

I have downloaded this app, deleted it and downloaded it again and again. It won't open and there is no tech support option. What a waste of time

I put several different calculations in and I don't think it is calculating the volume/rate correctly.
