Connecting to my Mac is fine. Windows PC is stretched and clicks are offset. It doesn’t support the X resolution either.

Couple issues now with iPhone 10 -Landscape mode isn’t working, screen gets all scrambled up. -Screen isn’t centered. -Actual cursor clicks to the right of what Splashtop shows.

I have been using Splashtop for I think around 5 or 6 years to remote into my computers at home from my phone while I am out and about. I just use it to move files and do little things here and there these days but I used to do heavier computing with it. It has been a stable application and I have been very happy with it. Navigating the screen on an iPhone can be a little cumbersome at times, maybe because with the small screen and big fingers, its easy to close or move things you didn't intend to. But you can pinch the screen to resize what you are looking at. I recommend this app if you are looking for an easy and safe way to remotely connect to your computers.
  • Perfect except for one flaw

I’ve been a user of this for many years and it’s very reliable. Lately I’ve found that my cursor can’t move to the right all the way. Like there’s an invisible barrier that prevents me a couple inches before the right edge. That makes it difficult to close programs, Access task bar programs, etc. you can work around it but hopefully a fix will solve this.
  • $16.99 annual for what others do free

Not paying to connect to my pc from another location outside of my own network. Why would I need to remote into a computer in my own network? Useless freebie to butter-up inexperienced novice techs. The whole point of Remote Desktop is to use it remotely (..go figure). A yearly sub of $16.99 to do that is a joke. One-star, uninstalled.
  • I’m trying... 😩

I really like this app... as long as we’re on the same network 🤷🏾‍♂️. I’ve paid the $16 for anywhere access and all I get is a black screen. If I turn the monitor on it works, but anytime I turn the monitor off, I see a black screen on my phone app. I really want to give this 5 starts, but I’m not able to get what I’ve paid for. I’ve done what other forums have suggested, but to no avail. If any of the developers can help that would be so appreciated.

Updated Review I am switching back to Google Remote Desktop. I do not have the money to be paying nearly $20 a year for something I rarely use in order to save my grade. Don't get me wrong, the app is still awesome. It does so much to help you access your computer. It's amazing. I can even play an FPS shooter through this app if I wanted, but it's like they are hiding the fact that you must pay them to use this app outside of their house, covering it with the "Get Anywhere Access Pack" thrown all the way to the bottom of their description. The real reason why I needed an app like this was so I can send office and college files off of my computer if I ever forgot to put them on an online cloud service. I need to be able to access my house computer without actually being at my house. This app doesn't do that, unless you pay them yearly. I couldn't send a biology report to myself in time because the app gave me this shocking subscription surprise. I missed the grade. As of my old review, I didn't know you had to be in the same Wi-Fi connection to be able to use Splashtop from afar. What's the point then? I could just walk over to my computer if I ever need to access it. I shouldn't need to be paying nearly 20 dollars yearly to keep an app that I use once or twice a month. As a college student, I need to save all the money I can. Google Remote Desktop may not have any of the nice extra features this app has, but it's free and reaches all the requirements. That's an app that I can depend on to reach my personal files. The app is nice, but not worth $17 a year for the amount of times I use it. If they want me to pay that, they should improve their interface and allow personalization options before I reconsider. The buttons are small, I should have a way to rearrange the extra buttons, and while this one isn't important, I don't like the green old log in screen. This app should be updated to look and act more modern. Old Review I've been using Google remote desktop for a while and I decided I should move on since Google doesn't have a lot of options and Microsoft doesn't even let you use theirs. I'm glad I made that choice. Splashtop has made things so convenient and efficient for people who want to use it in different ways. Want to use your laptop like a touchpad? No prob! Want to play a game? Splashtop has a arrow key feature for remote gaming. Basically, its impressive and I can't wait to continue using my computer without being in my basement or carrying it to the bathroom. I can't come up with any negatives except that I dont like the color green. Good job!
  • Works really well with 4X games

Love this app, I can play 4X games with it. Sid Meier's civ games and xcom, shadowrunner, even Pillars of Eternity. Leave your powerful desktop at home and go mobile! All this needs now is the ability to use a mouse via Bluetooth, or a controller and your set!
