  • Network Request Error?

Every time I swipe on someone it says network request error?? And I keep getting the same people when I’m swiping. What’s happening? Someone help?
  • Buggiest app on my phone

By Dang I hate crashes yea
Tinder has consistently been the buggiest app on my phone for about three years now. It’s always logging me out and forcing me to re-login (and go through the stupid tutorial for the thousandth time), incorrectly displaying matches and conversations, improperly loading photos and profiles, and misrepresenting locations. If it didn’t have the broadest user base, I’d be beyond fed up by now, but I guess the rewards still outweigh the downsides of the bad software. Always the newest version of iOS, on the last model with a headphone jack.
  • Good but buggy

    By jamruhhh
It’s been randomly logging me out lately which is kind of annoying. It also shows me having two unread messages even though they’ve all been opened. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it didn’t help. This might sound trivial but I have bad OCD and stupid bugs like this temp me to delete apps entirely.
  • Tinder is fantastic

    By Anthxny581
If it wasn’t for tinder I wouldn’t have met my better half, I know it seems weird to met someone on a dating app but I’ve never been this happy. I love him more then anything and I owe it all to tinder.

  • Doesn’t verify my phone number

    By wassup_shorty
I use the app mainly to look at pictures of people that are on the app. And time to time make convo for curing my boredom. I come across a lot of rude people on the app but it comes with the territory I guess. However, recently the app asked to verify my phone number. I selected the correct region which is guam and put in my area code and phone number. Waited 5 minutes which turned into an hour of not receiving any verification code. So whatever is the issue, it needs to be fixed.
  • App is unstable

    By Geezus_Mike
I’ve always enjoyed the app but lately it’s been so unstable. It will log me out for no apparent reason. When I do login it says I have over 30 new messages but no new messages and no new matches ....the number 30 stays over the app icon which is annoying. Deleted the app, and redownloaded it but still no resolution ...I can’t stand to see notifications on apps so I’m prompted to just delete the app until this is fixed .

  • Went For It

This is a long review, but I think necessary. As an experiment and because I'm lucky that I can afford it, I decided to spend as much money on this app as I felt was worth it. I have used the free version in the past and had nominal success. So I decided to purchase the six-month paid version, and spent extra money on Super Likes, Boosts and additional Super Likes just to see if it would make a difference. In total I spent just under $150, and for the last month have made sure to swipe, Like, and Super Like as many women as possible, taking into account that I would Like the women I felt attracted to, but NOT just the obvious Instagram models (most of which I did not Like, for the record). My standards are pretty normal, I would say. Let me say this, though: I'm not going to be on the cover of a magazine any time soon, but I do believe I am an above-average looking guy. Far from the "hottest", but definitely far from the "ugliest" (if that even makes a difference). I wrote a simple profile description, and even included the requisite "me with dog" photos (I'm only sort of joking). I make a very good living, though I don't mention that in my profile. After 60 days of swiping every day for probably a total of about an hour and a half (again, per day), I saw a grand total of 7 women "Liking" me (with the paid version you can see who Likes you). None of which did I find attractive, which is on me...but nonetheless. Also, I matched with only 3 women, of which I messaged promptly with polite "hellos" and conversation starters that had nothing to do with the idea of a "hook-up". Not only did I never receive a response from the 3 women, but one of the profiles even disappeared after a short time. It should be noted that I live in Los Angeles where there is no shortage of women using the app. There is a Boost feature that Tinder offers which puts your profile "ahead of the line" (or something). Even with the paid, six-month version, I only receive 1 boost per month (you have to pay for more Boosts). That leads me to question what happens to the profile when it isn't Boosted. When my profile was Boosted, I received 5 of the 7 Likes, and 1 of the 3 matches. Again, none of the women I matched with responded to my initial message. So...my thoughts and general take on Tinder? An enormous waste of time and money (if you pay for it or not). Since I paid for the six-month version, I will continue to see if anything changes over the course of the next five months but without paying for anything extra. But not only is this a waste, but it's rather demoralizing. Either I'm the ugliest and least interesting mother-effer on Tinder, or something is up with their algorithm that I simply don't match with (which really doesn't make sense and shows that a ridiculous amount of luck must be involved). If Tinder works for you, hey by all means, go for it. It should otherwise be considered to be a massive waste in every respect, and I will instead further pursue the less popular route of meeting women...actually approaching and engaging with them in real life.
