Learn the current phase of the Moon with one of the most detailed and scientifically accurate visualizations ever made of the Moon. This app shows you the current phase of the Moon, using a simulation of the lunar surface created by NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance mission during its observations of the Moon. * Beautiful images of the Moon were made by NASA from data collected by spacecraft. * See the current date, phase name, illumination percentage, distance to the Earth and Moon age. * Swipe left and right to move forward or backwards in time to see what the Moon will look like in the future or past. * Need to find the next full Moon? You can click a button to take you to the next full Moon. * You can also access a calendar that shows you the phase of the Moon for any date in the future. * Press play and watch the Moon rotate through its phases, all on its own. * Pinch to zoom the Moon in and out to reveal more details on the lunar surface, and then pan around with two fingers * See the zodiac signs so you can find the Moon quickly in the night sky * Turn on a full lunar atlas, with dozens of labeled locations, including landing sites, craters and lunar maria. • Not accurate 😒

Just purchased this after getting new phone and was dismayed to see that it has a number of errors that don’t line up with the actual phases of the moon. Please fix this, or I want my money back.
  • Only one thing wrong...

    By JimKeen
This app is pretty great for what it is, but for one glaring mistake. When you press “play” or scroll backwards/forwards through time, the stars move in the wrong direction relative to the Moon. The Moon, in actuality, moves from right to left across the background of the stars, though it appears to move left to right because of the rotation of the Earth. Please fix this. Thanks!
  • Not what I expected

I’m not happy with this, can I get a refund?
  • Time of full moon

    By campok
Why can the full moon day not tell me the exact time of fullness from my location. Useless info maybe but I so love to fill my head with useless info. Thanks I use your app everyday. Truly enjoy it. My one and only complaint.
  • What time is it?

    By KewlRobot
The picture is nice. But if you want to track phases, time is important. Yes, the app is free, so I’m cutting some slack here. I see that others have mentioned opening the display to “now”, which is cool, but i’d also think a “now” button would be useful. All in all, an excellent effort.
  • Good app

Perfect for what I need. Helps plan my hunting and fishing trips.
  • Perfect App

This app is great in that it helps me decide when to go to my favorite seaside restaurant to catch the moon reflecting off the water.
  • Great App

I love this app. My one complaint is that it never opens to the current state. It opens to when I looked at it last and I have to manually update. I had the android version before this version and that app did open in real time. I can't find any settings to change this. Otherwise, I love the information it provides.
  • Love this app!!!

I love this app! I look at this all the time! So nice to know the cycles of the moon in advance!
  • If you like the description, get this app

This app does what it says it does in the description. I like using it to confirm where the lunar cycle is from time to time. The high resolution images of the moon are beautiful. Learning small tidbits of information about the moon (such it slight changes in orientation) is a side benefit. And... no fake news, no conflict, no drek of current society/civilization spews forth from this app.
