Connecting to the Internet in the parks: Without a strong Internet signal, wait times, park hours and schedules may not update accurately. You can see if your device is connected properly by checking under Settings. Note: Some features in this app will require your full name, country, birthdate and email address, as well as access to your location data. If Bluetooth is enabled on your device, this app will also collect your precise location information through beacon technology in order to improve your in-park experience, such as wait times. To facilitate the sign-in process, the app will also require access to your email address, stored within Account Manager. This app will request access to your camera to scan credit cards for purchases, link tickets and passes to your account, and scan and link PhotoPass cards. The app will request access to your external storage to cache certain data for offline browsing. The app will request access to your contacts to assign purchased PhotoPass images to your contacts. Optional planning tools may also ask you to provide details about your travel party.   • Poor Usability, Use the Website Instead

    This app has the potential to be a great resource, but it repeatedly lets me down. For reliability, use the website to book everything before you arrive and then just use the app on your phone to check what plans you made and to check wait times. We go to WDW frequently, and about half the time I have some sort of trouble with the app. One day, it removed all my friends and family so I couldn’t book any fast passes for them. Another day, my plans wouldn’t refresh so I couldn’t change the fast passes we had and book new ones. I had to go to the in park kiosk to make changes. Last night and this morning, I have been unable to view the menus for restaurants. I am trying to decide where to go for breakfast on Sunday, so I wanted to compare menus. I should’ve known better and just gone on the website.
  • Disney can’t even handle an app

    Between my canceled reservations showing up months later and error messages, I have to ask...what the hell disney?! As Disney’s guest, I’m supposed to plan what I want to eat 180 days in advance. So, I did just that. Now the “app” keeps showing me reservations that I have canceled. Not to mention, that according to the app, i can’t adjust my schedule at all, because the fastpasses I have cannot be adjusted even a little. I love Disney and have paid (stupidly) to stay at the contemporary (others in between) and now the Polynesian. Because of the app, I’m nervous about my upcoming trip at the Poly in October.

    I used to use this app all the time and loved it. Since the update I haven’t been able to open it all and I’ve tried multiple times. It usually opens and crashes right away, or freezes and won’t open at all.

    This app went from working great to terrible. It constantly freezes, doesn’t save your plans or recognize who you are and your guests.
  • Photopass is incredibly slow and hard to access

    I have major problems when I try to access photopass, my pictures take minutes to load and sometimes they don’t load at all!
