  • News Journal

I still get the actual paper Thurs thru Sunday. I have not cared as much for News Journal when few changes had been made. The listing of where to find various things no longer listed on 1st page. The house of the week featured article no longer exist. Next to know listings or info on homes. Computer not always more than one in the home but generally more than one person. Less content and more money a reason many stopped with paper. Sad.
  • Terrible News App

It is easy to see that Delaware Online is part of the USA TODAY network, because news articles are kept on the pages way too long. There are stories over a month old- if people haven't read them by now, they don't need to see them after a month. And the person(s) who write the obituaries and their supervisor need to be fired! Sometimes there are 2 or 3 of the identical obituary in a row (doesn't anyone there read their own articles?). Also, the writer and proofreader (I doubt they have one) ALWAYS uses Iii instead of III as the suffix for a deceased person - very insulting. I'm so glad I wasn't foolish enough to pay (subscribe) for this information.

Been a great way to get updates during the pandemic. I really appreciate all the hard work everyone is doing to update the community. Offering this service for free was a terrific thing to do.
