  • Sharing the Wonder!

    By Bigfoot-Broderick
Lifecake makes sharing the wonder of a new life easy to chronicle and secure to share. Having the chronology helps us recall and reflect on the growth in the context of social events and current culture.
  • Great

Overall the app is great and a wonderful place to share photos with family. A couple of bugs to report: -If you upload more than about 5 photos at once it really struggles - uploads duplicates and then gets stuck saying it’s uploading and that screen won’t go away even after turning the phone off. -Sometimes when I upload photos it shows that I favorited the photo without me clicking the heart.
  • Will not open app

Just had my first child and my wife says to download this app. I download the app, it asks me for my email, I provide email. It then says to click on the link in the email to verify my email address. So I click on the link in my email and it sends me to the website version of life cake, not the app. I have tried this 10+ times and every time the same result. I cannot upload via the website version (only via the app) so the app is truly worthless as I cannot get past the first step and I cannot view or upload anything. The shared album option on my iPhone works perfectly though. If your friends or family don’t have an iPhone and can’t utilize the shared album functionality of an iPhone and “need” to get life cake, just tell your friends to get a better phone and get an iPhone. This app is worthless
  • Problems with Lifecake

It just doesn’t work. I can now only view photos that I have “liked”.
  • The best app. Literally

    By ais.hes
This is the best photo album/app. I have been using it for 5 years seamlessly. I love love it. I am scared of doing any update that’s literally how perfect it is.
  • “FREE” ...not exactly

    By xox_brea
I downloaded this app 3-4 years ago after my son was born. It was great until around his 2nd birthday when the app no longer had “free” space left. I forgot about it for a while and just came back to it today. I realized I had a lot of duplicate pictures and videos so I cleaned it up and erased a lot of photos and videos but guess what? I’m still at 100% capacity even though I freed up tons of space so that I could add in some recent photos from the past couple of years to share with family...not sure why it won’t let me. Only thing I can guess is they want my money to continue to use their app.

  • A Must Have!

We love this app! It’s easy for me and my family and friends to use. Instead of sending pictures of my son in different text messages to everyone, you simply upload and everyone sees it at once. Anyone can add to it, comment or like a photo. I also love that the newer, most recent photos are first and that it shows the month and date the picture was taken; so you see them chronologically. This is a simple and awesome app for sharing photos with loved ones!
  • Great App, Ridiculous Price

    By patrickhrco
I actually like this app a lot. Even though you can do a very similar thing for free with shared albums in photos, I like the way lifecake lays things out much better. Here’s the rub... the price. $65/yr is absurd. When google and amazon give away storage like crazy, charging this much for a photo storage and sharing app is insane. Then, I receive a notification telling me the price is going up soon?!?!? What! If the cost was $20-25/year I would buy. I see the value in that. I’m deleting the app and my photos ASAP.
