Description

Odds Insider gives you all the data you need to make informed bets on professional football games. Not only do you get the latest lines from the most respected land-based and online sports books, you get to see the lines change in near real-time. People often refer to "the smart money" when betting. But how do you determine this? Tracking lines that move in the opposite direction of what team the higher percentage of public bets are on is the key. Following these reverse line moves has been shown to be profitable. Every week, regardless of the sport, head-scratching upsets take place that have bettors cursing the heavens and crying foul while ripping up their tickets. Reverse line movement takes place when a large majority of bets are on one team, yet the line moves in the opposite direction. For example, remember the BCS National Championship game with LSU and Alabama? LSU had over 65% of the public bets, while the line moved from the opening LSU -1 number all the way to Alabama -3 at some books. You all now know what transpired, LSU didn't even put up a fight. So what causes reverse line movement when the aim of most bookmakers is to get as close to balanced action on both sides as possible? The answer to this is quite simple: the sharp bettors. You see, reverse line movement takes place when more money is bet by the small percentage of bettors that are on the unpopular side (the sharps) than is bet by the huge majority of players betting the popular side (the squares). Thus, following reverse line movements is the same thing a following the smart money. Now do the sharps win every single time? Absolutely not! However, they are right more often than they are wrong, so being on the same side as the sharps is a prudent strategy over the long run, and Odds Insider helps you do that!

In the description of this app which I paid $20 for. It said that it would show reverse line movements by showing which lines move against the heavy betting public. Problem is, no where can I find which side the public is on! All I see is line movements. Which would render this app absolutely useless and a rip off of at $20! How do I find the betting percentage of any particular bet. Please tell me I didn't throw away my $20 and this app isn't completely useless. Because with out showing which side the public is on its impossible to track a reverse line movement! Which was I bought the app! All I want is the app to do, what it says it does! Because that's why I bought it!
