Description

*** Delta and American Airlines flight loads are back as of 12/1/2015! *** NonRev is a term used by airlines to refer to non-revenue passengers, that is, passengers flying for free. This includes airline employees and their families, as well as buddy pass travelers and so on. Generally NonRevs travel standby and are given seats only after paid passengers are accounted for. NonRev app helps you plan your NonRev adventures by allowing you to search for flights and see an estimate of how good your chances are of getting a seat on any given flight.* NonRev app is subscription-based, however, even without a subscription you can search for flights between LAX, JFK, ATL, ORD, and LHR. *Due to technical factors, currently no NonRev status is available for Southwest Airlines.

I subscribed to their service and like the previous review states, the load info is very misleading or incorrect altogether. When I went to unsubscribe, there is not option or way of contacting the developer (at least not one in which they will respond to you). They right now are charging my iTunes account $6.00 per month and I have no way of cancelling it. It doesn’t show I. You iTunes account as being charged, and yet they continue to draw funds from my debit card as though it’s an iTunes subscription. *caution and beware!!!*
  • Only good if you’re looking 1+ day out

App is great if you’re looking at flights more than a day in advance- trying to get same day loads is IMPOSSIBLE, app gives an error message every time. Sometimes that’s when you NEED the app, at the last minute!

I hate this app, you can figure out the same thing through Id90. I don’t see a way to unsubscribe. If you own this app please help me unsubscribe. Thanks.

This app is great when it's working. It's been crashing on me recently.

From my experience with this app...mind you it has only been two trips. But both times I didn’t get the loads. Which is what you really need and is the helpful part of NonReving IMO. I though this app would tell me how many seats are empty on a particular flight. And how many are on the standby list. Or how much it is oversold, if oversold. Any of that would be helpful. Both times I used it. I was flying to and from Amsterdam and all the app told me was the flight I wanted to go on was oversold. I went anyway and got right on both times. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have traveled NonRev for nearly 30 years knowing the numbers is what gives you a good idea of you should try it or not. Don’t waste your money with this app!

This has worked wonders for helping me look at loads to get to and from work in a pinch, ESPECIALLY when trying to plan after an IROP. Definitely worth it and hasn't steered me wrong yet. Much faster than logging in other-airline travel sites for the same info.

Where on the app can I cancel future payments? I only paid for one month in October and was charged today?
  • Crashes frequently and a bit pricey

As a commuter it’s a great tool to have. That being said it crashes literally every other time I use it. It would be nice if we could see SW loads as well. All in all it’s good but could be great with some minor fixes.
  • Must have for commuters

I use this app every time I am trying to get to work. It has worked extremely well in giving me a “best guess” as which flight to shoot for trying to get to work. I do have a suggestion - select only one airline at a time. If you select multiple airlines, the app sometimes omits certain flights. Therefore, select one airline, then search. Repeat for additional airlines. This app would be 5 stars if you didn’t need to do multiple independent searches. Looking at when this app was last updated, looks like it could use another one.
