  • Doesn’t work with watch

    I couldn’t get it to work properly with my Apple Watch. I tried resetting the connection in the settings portion of app but no luck. Ended up with two workouts running at once. One on phone the other on watch. Made it difficult to get in the flow of my workout.

    My only issue appears when I create custom routines. When I try entering multiple sets, it automatically repeats the metrics with subsequent sets, even if I’ve already entered different metrics in those sets (it simply deletes them and rewrites them. For someone doing sets using the exact same reps and weight every tine, this isn’t a problem. But if I’m entering any other quantity, which is the norm for custom workouts and progressive training programs, the app overrides— and subsequently infuriates— me. What’s worse is that it doesn’t do this with every exercise, so I have no idea when this nasty issue will show itself. Also, my Apple Watch wouldn’t properly record heart and calorie metrics with the Strong watch app installed. Deleted the watch app and the problem was solved. Something in the app wants to overwrite the Watch metrics, but it doesn’t have anything from which that data can be collected.
