  • Downloaded songs keep vanishing

    I’d not even give this app a single star. I’ve downloaded around 100 songs for my trip as I’m limited on internet and when I’m ready for the trip, right on!! They all vanished and no synchronization helped regaining them back. Pretty sad to be paying for this rather than getting some other app with better performance and quality even if it costs more.

    Updated - May 2019 Unfortunately things have been going downhill for Saavn. Lots of songs which used to be on my playlist are unavailable after reliance/jio bought the app. The collection of songs which included almost everything was the biggest selling point. That’s why I looked over app glitches and forced paid service etc. Recently I am getting an error -‘ internet not available ‘ when I have full LTE coverage and WiFi. All other apps work fine. But SAAVN does not seem to sense the high speed Internet available. That was the last straw. Cancelling the Subscription and will shop around for new services like Apple Music and amazon music which will definitely have better customer service and follow-up. P.S - with such bad customer service / app dev and when majority of subscribers seem to face similar issues and having a low star rating of 2+. Its interesting to see odd glowing reviews , praising the developers , naming bad reviewers as ‘cheap’, calling it the best streaming service (eye roll) etc . It feels like planted reviews from Saavn well-wishers. Anyway that’s for Apple App Store to figure out ————- The earlier version was amazing and stable. I don’t really care about UI changes but my major complain is that the app is very unstable now. Playback stops for no reason, occasionally there is a lot of disturbance in the music, which I figured out can be corrected by hitting “pause” and “play”. But how many times can you do that when trying to listen to music. I am hoping quick fixes will be rolled out soon.

    Since 2 years bluffing to enable carplay. Everytime you have to manually go and play which you want. Neither in bluetooth nor in USB it’s getting resume from last point. This year is the last, will move to apple or amazon music.
  • Downloaded songs keep getting wiped

    The app has been constantly logging me out. That invalidates all downloads. It also happens some other times when I am offline but logged in. The whole idea of having offline songs is to be able to access them when you don’t have internet. The songs are unavailable even when I log back in and need to be downloaded again which is a waste of time and bandwidth if I am on a metered connection. I’ve had a paid subscription for almost two years now. This issue might end up being a deal breaker and I might have look for other options. Would be sad because the app has otherwise improved in visual appeal and navigation but if the only thing that I am paying for doesn’t work then all that might not be worth it.

    I usually don’t get mad at apps this much but I hate this app and their staff. As a paying member, I can’t use my own app because they have a limit of 5 devices. Now if I have to deauthorize one of the devices, I have to email them and tell them to do it. Oh by the way, I emailed them more than 3 weeks ago and still, nothing has happened. As of this week, I am no more an active paying member after four years.

  • Don’t have control to Deauthorize devices

    I changed my device and I wanted to deauthorize my old devices, I don’t have such an option to control other devices in my account. I emailed the support team to get this done as per the instructions, its been 3 months since I made the request but never got response. Very poor customer support. I would like to give 0 stars.
