  • Total Rip-Off

They don’t tell you content is pretty much nonexistent until after going through 47 steps and you end up forced to pay the $4.99 fee for a single walk – and then, though you can then get the step-by-step directions (in a very bad interface that covers your location), the information they provide is so minimal that even a terrible guidebook would be better. They give as much information on random shops as they do on points of interest.
  • GPSmycity app fabulous!

I purchased a one year subscription to this app before going on a cruise in the Baltic. It was perfect for walking around the 4 cities where I tried it. I could download a huge selection of walks in (ex) Stockholm, and I didn’t need to buy cell service or WiFi to walk around and see a variety of different things. There is an enormous amount of information available on a very long list of cities. I found this to be a great way to get around new cities and well worth the subscription fee, especially when compared to daily cell/WiFi or cruise excursions costs.

Worthless app. Apple should remove this!
  • Not Free

Deleted this app within a few days. Tried to use it to set up a walking tour but all it wanted was money. is a much better app. doesn’t have walking tours but it works off-line without having to use data.
  • Useless

This app seemed perfect. $4.99 for a handful of wi-fi/data-free guided tours of many cities (we tried it out in Bruges, Belgium). The tours are enticingly, smartly themed - architecture, cultural, museums, etc. But one I paid my $4.99 I found that the Architectural tour was thin at best and it was missing major sites. What it had most of were “Places of Interest” that are just run of the mill tourist trap bars, shops and restaurants. Walking the city blind was more rewarding than blindly trusting this app.
  • Total waste

Downloaded this App for walking tours in Berlin, and stupidly upgraded. The “tours” offer no information whatsoever, and just consist of a bunch of random photos that look like they were taken by some dude on his summer break. Don’t be a sucker like me.
  • Great App for Travelers

    By SJayinCT
This is a great app for travelers. It provides real-time maps which use satellite rather than Wi-Fi. In addition to city maps which highlight many tourist attractions, the app provides city walks with detailed descriptions of the sites you will encounter. As such it is also useful tool for planning a trip. The small cost to obtain the upgrade version is well worth the price.
  • Excellent - can’t get lost.

I have now used GPSmyCity for several locations. Two different devices. I love the walking tours and the audio. Even the light location downloads are helpful. Spend a little and it gets better. I don’t mind spending a little to support the effort it takes to create these tours and facts. Thanks for making my vacation stops more enjoyable.
  • What is needed in our current times!

I am really enjoying this map app, especially because unlike GoogleMaps, it doesn’t track my online data involuntarily! ♥️♥️♥️ It’s so worth the money! I also just LOVE the fact that it has many blogger stories and guides about the places I visit. This part is unique and very helpful in giving me an overall understanding of the new destinations. I always try to find local bloggers anyway, and with this map I can do that and save them faster. Looking forward to my next trip to use this app. I have had this app for a long time now and they always add new features. I love it! For those who likes to travel, this is the map for you! 👌
  • Very disappointed

Signed up for the $4.99 upgrade for Victoria BC for a trip the next day and got nothing but the icon on my phone! I could read the articles....but I could do that on the GPSmyCity icon. Still had a good time in Victoria but used google maps and just wandered.
