Be aware that if you purchase minutes via this app they expire quickly and there's no way of getting them or your money back! I also emailed their "support" and never heard back... But i did receive a ticket asking how "Manny" did with answering my question!

This app is a total essential for off-grid living, and offers a truly free phone number service. I’ve been using it since 2014, and just randomly felt like i owed these guys a good review after all these years. Anybody who rated this less than 5 stars is an a**hole, as you are truly getting something for nothing here: a working phone number, voice calls, voicemail, text messaging - you can even sync your contacts, or start a new, separate address book (which is great if you plan on using the number as a burner, and want to keep certain contacts separate from the ones already on your phone). Yes, there are ads, and yes they are kind of annoying sometimes - but, as they say, “you get what you pay for”, and the ads are paying for your use of this free app... so stop complaining, and be a homie and click on them once in a while to help out the nice people who work hard to keep this app running. One kinda hitch here is that sometimes there’s a fat lag on calls between speaking and being heard on the other person’s phone, which means you have to wait a few seconds after the other person is done talking before you talk. This can be really awkward if you plan on using the phone for formal calls, such as applying for jobs, as it can frustrate the person on the other line. Otherwise, just let them know about the lag when you start the call and to wait a few seconds before speaking (i like to lie and say i’m out of the country, so i sound more adventurous and less like a poor person). That being said, i only ever use my phone on wifi - i don’t have real phone service - so that may be why. Anyway, If you’re looking for an app that hooks you up with a free, functional phone number - look no further, this is it bruh.
