Quote from a customer:

"Last week I had a meeting with my accountants and my bankers. We were working on the pro forma balance sheets and cash flows for a new project I'm working on.

They were all asking why I had switched to the iPhone for I used to be a die hard "brandX phone" fan. I said that one could do so much more. They said "yea...sure" (they were all using "brandX phones") until I started using your calculator. We were analyzing different payment and amortization schedules. They were so impressed by how easily we could figure out the amount of interest, principal and remaining loan balance for any certain period or combination of periods that in the end they were saying "I have to get me one of those".

 Great product. Thanks."

  • It works, just that simple.

When you buy a calculator app you want it to work with no surprises. This one does. Works and acts just the physical version I used in college. Plus, there are no batteries to change. LOL!!! Car salesmen hate this thing. It keeps them honest.
  • Superb calculator

I love this calculator and use it all of the time. I love that you can take it to different steps and see the amortization tables and schedules. So much better than the regular calculator. This app is in a class by itself. Worth every single penny spent.

Use both the pricing and financial features everyday. Fantastic.
  • Excellent App

I use this app along with two of their other calculator apps. All three are superb, and they all are far superior to the actual physical calculators, which I also own. Ernest includes features in his apps like worksheets, improved graphing, help and information features that are great improvements over the original hand held calculators. Anyway, I love the 10bII, HP 12 and TI 83 apps. Although I don!t own them, I feel sure his other calculator apps are just as great.

When you need something beyond basic, this is a great choice. Especially if you are looking for an app to help with finance.

  • 10BII Calc HD Seems to be the best>Good Job!

Easy, Beautiful, and Reliable (no calculation errors). This 10BII HD works great with every iPhone I've used over 6 years or so (4, 4S, 5, 5s), and with a 7plus, with the latest iOS 10.x (and I have no relationship with the developer!) I have used this calculator of Ernest Brock's for at least 5 or 6 years, in all the versions (on an iPhone 3G, 4s, 5s, 7+). I purchased all his financial calculators to test them out, but this is the one with the layout and key functions that I personally like to use. Mr. Brock has added in very easy prediction and amortization to the functions of the original HP hardware calc. The calculations are always perfect (I've purchased about 20 calc apps with weird errors in calculation), and this app has features and ease of use that go way beyond the "real" HP 10BII and my other hardware business/financial calculators (including an original HP19IIb, for calculator geeks). (side note: for a scientific calculator I use TLA's pCalc. Ernest Brock owns the financial calc realm, but I like the pCalc scientific functions.) For the 10BII interface, Ernest Brock has picked some easy to read colors for button labels, and when you enter a new current/future amount, interest, etc, the entry appears in little but readable (I'm over 60) bright numbers below the keys. There are periodic useful improvements/ upgrades, that actually add to the usefulness and interface. In all the ways I've used this calculator (bank accounts, mortgage, student loans, etc), NO GLITCHES!
  • Simply the best calculator for iOS

What the title says. This is the only calculator I use on my iOS devices. It's a faithful implementation of the fantastic HP10bII calculator, made even better and more versatile with a series of enhancements. I can't recommend this app highly enough. Get it. (20170509)
