HOW IT WORKS Most aircraft today are equipped with ADS-B transponders that transmit positional data. Flightradar24 has a rapidly growing network of 17,000 ground stations around the world to receive this data that then shows up as aircraft moving on a map in the app. In an expanding number of regions, with the help of multilateration, we’re able to calculate the positions of aircraft that don’t have ADS-B transponders. Coverage in North America is also supplemented by real-time radar data. Coverage is variable and subject to change at any time. CONNECT WITH FLIGHTRADAR24 We love getting feedback on FR24. Need landmarks to show on replay aerials. I’ll give your site a higher rating if you add that feature.

You should have more respect for previous app buyer. I paid before for no adds and additional features and now I have to use the free version and to have more features I will have tompay again for a subscription. You are cheating the customers.

I am a gold member of Flightradar24 and am very happy with what it has to offer. I have tried at least 5 other plane spotter apps and none are as great as this one. For 35 dollars a year, it is totally worth it as the detail and features available are great, including even the age of the aircraft! Stick with this one if you want a great plane spotter app!

It is fun finding out where the planes flying over my house are heading. I used the application to help me know when my daughter was arriving so I could go pick her up.
  • Satisfies curiosity.

I love love aviation. With Flight Radar 25 I can track my flight or the flight of a love one that I have to pick up at the airport. Even if I’m in my backyard and an airliner cruises over I can check to see where it’s been or going. If a special airliner is going by like the A380 I can easily find a location to see it GI by.
