Uber is a ridesharing app for fast, reliable rides in minutes—day or night. There’s no need to park or wait for a taxi or bus. With Uber, you just tap to request a ride, and it’s easy to pay with credit or cash in select cities. Whether you’re going to the airport or across town, there’s an Uber for every occasion. Uber is available in more than 500 cities worldwide—download the app and take your first trip today. Requesting your Uber is easy—here’s how it works: - Just open the app and tell us where you’re going. - The app uses your location so your driver knows where to pick you up. - You’ll see your driver’s picture, vehicle details, and can track their arrival on the map. - Payment can be made by credit card, cash in select cities, Apple Pay, PayPal, and more. - After the ride, you can rate your driver and provide feedback to help us improve the Uber experience. You’ll also get a receipt by email. Need a simple way to get from A to B quickly? Take uberX, our most affordable individual option. Want to save money on your ride? Take uberPOOL—you’ll travel with other riders headed your way and enjoy a lower fare. Want to elevate your experience? Take a high-end vehicle with UberBLACK. And there’s still more options—whether you’re traveling with a big group, or need a vehicle with accessibility features. • Good, but Needs Improvement

    By BiracialGaby
Uber is a good, cheaper option to get around town. However, Uber’s GPS, driver selection, and option to delay the waiting time for passengers using an employee sponsored commuter card, needs improvement. I use Uber multiple times per week. Most of the rides are okay. However, I have encountered many drivers that were not familiar with the area or basic driving rules (they went through stop signs, turned onto one way streets, made illegal turns, etc.) and relied too much on the app to the point that they focused on the location of the “pin” versus the actual stated pick-up and drop off addresses. While Uber is cheaper and quicker than a taxi cab, their driver selection is a little worrisome. I’ve experienced drivers that did not seem comfortable driving in general, let alone as a ride share driver. I’ve had drivers that could
  • Uber pool

    By Hshghkdjbdiceh
This new Uber pool selection is just horrid. The waiting and the fact that they give you a short period of time to run to the “closest” pickup location meanwhile it’s more than 4 long blocks away and then it’s the same amount of long blocks away from ones destination ! Then you can’t change it to the regular pool because it’s like $5-6 more! This Uber pool needs to be updated again.

  • Unable to verify my number?!

    By christieshea
I was pretty happy with uber until recently, it just all of a sudden says my number is not verified. I have sent emails to uber multiple times and no one was able to help me with the problem. And now, they even stopped replying my emails, as if I was joking around. They kept sending me discounts for uber and uber eat, but what’s the point if I can’t even use my account.
  • Everything within reach

App well laid out and easy to navigate
  • Mixed up GPS system

    By London Sandy
The driver was very nice however the Uber “where to” option would not take the desired address. It was very unpleasant and if I did not know where I was going it would have been a very unhappy ending. The driver was very nice however the trip was anxiety for me as I had an appointment to keep. • The app dosent recognize my debit card

    By Jezz766
Everything in travel and I used the application, most of the time it didn't want to work and it keep saying that something is wrong with my payment method and it is nothing wrong because I verify with the banks. Really disappointed.
  • $5 hostage fee

    By Jeerreemmyy47
I needed a short ride to the store. My Uber app said the driver was 3 minutes away. 5 minutes later my driver calls me and asks if I’m at a Marriott. I told her I was not and that I was waiting outside the coffee bean where I had ordered the Uber. She told me okay but that she was going to go to the Marriott anyways to use the restroom. I would have cancelled and ordered another driver who was actually ready to Uber but a notification alerted me that I would be charged $5 to cancel. The ride itself cost less than $5 so regrettably I didn’t cancel. I was eventually picked up almost 30 minutes later. Terrible service. If a driver starts off 3 minutes away, you should be allowed to cancel for free after waiting 20 minutes.
  • Disappointed

    By raben29
I am using LYFT tonight. Uber stuck me with a 2$ tip which I did not check as my pooled fare was about 9$ for about a 4 mile trip. Raben29
  • Uber charges me canceling fee when I was the one who was stranded?

    By Pittink
Uber your GPS is terrible....all three rides today had my pick up location off. Had a driver to cancel on me after I waited in the cold for 15 min watching his little car go round and round. Trying to compensate for poor GPS, I texted him and told him where we were. I’ll be switching soon.
