  • Ugh - LinkedIn has ruined my experience

Forcing me to create a LinkedIn account and use their “LinkedIn Learning” app has destroyed my love for Lynda.com They are now just ramping up the data collection aspect on all of us.. good luck! I can only hope some competition will enter this business and create a more positive experience without stealing our data at the same time they take our money. We need a new revolution of apps with guaranteed privacy.. I would pay for that. I will not pay for data theft

Easy way to learn new things. I learned about Lynda.com from a trial at work, and later found out that my public library offers library card holders access. Now I cannot get enough of it. The app is really easy to use and courses are split into the perfect size sections.

I don't know whom I should thank, Lynda.com or the city of Los Angeles, but being able to benefit from Lynda.com on the go by signing in through my library is terrific. I wish more people knew they could advantage!

I like the site and the content, and I was excited to try out the mobile app. However, because my subscription is offered by my school, I have to log in under Organization. I tried all options, and it always says “An error has occurred. Please try again later”. I’m disappointed in the mobile app so far.

Lunda is a great way to learn on the go. I usually will start these on my way to work, or at work throughout the day. I like that the course videos are shorter and broken up. I got my account for free through my library card and use it everyday. My university actually uses a lot of the courses in Lynda as recommended learning.

Will not let you sign on the app when you have an account through a university.

Could not log in with my verified good login info either via LinkedIn or Lynda specific login. Works in browser not in app. Fail.

Obsessed with this amazing resource! I get this app for free with my NYPL card and now I'm teaching myself how to code in JavaScript. They have a lesson for almost anything so it's a great place to learn new skills. I guess my only complaint is that on the website they'll have complete lesson transcripts and on the app they don't.
