  • Love this app BUT...

I love everything about the way this app works except the database. It’s missing so many foods and often the calories are too low. It immediately goes to packaged brands or brands I never heard of. I constantly have to google and then manually input. But I love everything else about this thing. EVERYTHING.

This app has helped me lose 5% of my body weight so far. Keeping track of your calories, water and exercise is tremendously helpful. I like the passcode feature (don’t really need anyone seeing my stats lol) and being able to use the camera to scan barcodes for nutritional info. I pay extra monthly, for premium features. I like being able to keep track of the nutrients I’m taking in and what I might lack. The downside (please improve on this developers) is some of the foods listed have the incorrect calorie values and wrong nutritional information. Those are the two most important features that I find very valuable in helping me maintain a healthy lifestyle. Overall, this is a wonderful app for keeping a healthy lifestyle.
  • I keep coming back to this app because it’s the best

I’ve Defected away from this app three times over the last five years, but always come back because it is the most complete of all of them and the easiest to use. Sure there’s an expense to get the pro version but I think it’s worth it, and I’m cheap. LOL I highly recommend
  • Why can’t I add a recipe?! Sigh.

The video shows that a recipe can be added; however the video is old. Adding a recipe is not an option. This is not intuitive and quite frustrating. Waste of money.

I’ve used this app for years and have always loved it. It’s worked great, but lately a lot of the features I’ve wanted access to are restricted to the payed for membership. I actually don’t even mind paying for the membership, it is just so much more than similar diet tracking apps, so I can’t justify spending that much for just a handful of features. Because of this, I sadly have to switch to a free app that comes with these features. I will miss My Net Diary.
  • Fish tacos and Anejo tequila

Finally an app to chronicle dropping a few stones, and I don't have to save "extra points" or get motivated at some weekly meeting where everyone is bragging at how incredible "skinny cows" are. This app provides feedback in whatever form works for you. And me, I'm eating fish tacos with a few Anejo's and I'm dropping the pounds! Thanks ya'll!!
  • Simple and motivating!

The best thing about this app is how well the suggestions for corrected eating are supplied. Just enter your target weight and date so you can just add your food and exercise. After that it’s the beginning of your success story.
  • Doesn’t work great with Apple Watch

I have had this app for a while. When I got my Apple Watch I was excited that it was supposed to work with my Apple Watch. But for some reason it doesn’t recognize my workouts with my Apple Watch. I have tried so many things to fix and still nothing. Really disappointing

New review: I really want to see some changes to this app! All my comments below still hold true, and it’s been months (if not years) since I submitted them. No developer response at all, so another strike against them. My main problem with this app at the moment is with the charts part of the app. I love being able to see my weight and measurement history, but I wish the weight plan line went from your current weight to your desired weight, not from your starting weight to desired weight. My weight now is higher than when I started using the app, so when I set a small goal, say a 5 pound loss, the charts show little stars saying I gained 10% or such. It’s misleading and annoying. I realize I could probably fix this by resetting my history, but I want my weight history to stay, it’s a great log, and my only record. Please fix!!!! Also, more frequent updates (or any updates at all) would be appreciated! —————— Older review: I still love this app, but I have a few complaints: First, when you are talking to another member who you are friends with, the messages open with the very first message sent and you have to scroll all the way down to see the new messages. This is weird and inconvenient. The messages should open to the newest messages sent, just like every other messaging service I've seen. Second, no notification is sent when you receive a message, and I can't find any place in the settings to turn such notifications on. So if I want to have a conversation, I have to keep going back and checking to see if there are any new messages. Third, the app takes a long time to load, specifically when using the community and friends areas of the app. You have to wait as each page loads until you can click on anything in the page. I've never experienced this with other apps, and it isn't my internet connection.
  • Love it BUT

I’ve been a MyFitnessPal user for the last two years but wasn’t thrilled by their format. I heard about this app through a trainer and although I REALLY prefer this app, the food database is my issue which is key. Whenever I search for basic foods, I get a list of frozen, pre-made option and very little basic options (ie. salmon, yellow potatoes, etc.). I’m starting to seriously doubt whether I need to go back to the other app since the entire purpose of tracking my nutrition is based off of *food*. :(
