I have used Endomondo for approximately 6 years now and just recently Endomondo and Iwatch have stopped syncing correctly with one another. All my workouts prior to 2019 have been erased from my activity. Just today I ran for 1 hour and my iwatch activity says I ran for 50 minutes. Calories burned for Iwatch activity says 704 but Endomondo says 594. My average is around 875. Something isn’t working properly. Possibly Endomondo or Iwatch activity. I have contacted customer support for both and both blame each other. I’m guessing it’s probably time to move onto another app.

I am using the free version , which seems pretty good. Does anyone know if the app will also measure cadence? If not I’ll be switching to one that does

Works well w Apple Watch for most work outs. There are intermittent periods where heart rate doesn't pick up. I believe this is more an Apple Watch problem. Does NOT work well w Apple Watch. And most recently - today- froze during my 45 minute aerobic workout. Sure won't waste money upgrading to premium now!

This is such a dark pattern and feels like a scam.

Since the update the program is a major pain. Can’t find the settings i used most often in last version. Also doesn't always start tracking right away. Jeez

4.3.2019 Miles reported in the witches are less than the actual total miles in the app history section. 12.08.2018 Please add E bike support. I ride a Trek dual sport plus with a Bosch motor and it would be great to be able to accurately track my calories burned. Previous review: First they removed Apple Watch series 1 paired support and now theres now way to remove the map view in settings from the main screen. Many of my workouts traverse the same route. I don't need to see a map of it everyday! Also, no longer to configure workouts stats like avg pace on main workout screen!!😡

This app has been messing up a lot. First off I use the Arc trainer and there is not even an option for that. I do not want to use other. Next I set the app to stop my screen to lock so I can see how long I been doing cardio 50 % of the time that does not work. About 25% of the time it will lose my workout. Sometimes when I am in the middle of it or at the end of my cardio. If I want to use this app I MUSt watch it very closely or I could lose my information. I really wanted to like this app.
  • Not worth the Training Plan

The major issue with this app is the fact that the watch is a stand alone that doesn’t talk to the app on the phone. The issue is that if you pay the $50 for the training plan you CANNOT use the training plans on the watch. I contacted Endomondo about this and they told me they were not even in the works to make the training plans work on the watch in the near future. WHAT?!?! So, you are forced to use the phone app and the watch is pretty much useless. The work around is “if” you are not doing interval training or fitness test and only doing regular run can go online (not app) and transfer that run to the training plan. I mean really?!?
  • Get rid of “hold to finish”

The having to hold down the stop button for several seconds to end the workout is stupid. Get rid of it and put it back the way it used to be.

Since stand-alone for Apple Watch update workouts are not always updated to Apple Activity app totals. I always start/end workouts on my Gen3 Apple watch. Sometimes I can edit the workout on the phone, not changing any data, and just get out of the edit mode and it will write to the Activity app data. Other times that doesn’t even help. I am getting so frustrated I am considering using other app. I would really like to know why this error condition happens! The app has been great otherwise.
