Drop the price and I’ll be back. Until then it’s Cashly app! Adios. If you hide a cache give it a 1 for difficulty then the cheapskates can find it. ;)

  • Good app, bad pricing

I love the app but I’m not willing to pay a monthly fee to see all the caches. I’ll pay a one-time flat fee, but a recurring charge is outrageous.

Lots of free options, but only very basic. Because I only do 1-2 per year the subscription is more than I am willing to pay. I would like something like &.99 per day.

I got turned on to this game a few years back and I love it!!! I have traveled to places I thought did not exist and meet a bunch of fellow cachers that are great people.
  • Don’t get premium through iTunes

I purchased the yearly reoccurring premium subscription through iTunes and when I got a new phone and re-downloaded the app, but my account is no longer premium on the app even though it’s showing I still have an active subscription on iTunes. It’s pretty lame to pay that much for something and not be able to use it just because you switch phones. And was I ever even a premium member on the geocaching website having paid through iTunes? I don’t get it I paid them money I should have premium membership. I like geocaching a lot, but right now it’s not even usable since the app asks me to pay for something which I already have.

I didn’t like the app because when I was going geocaching I went to the spots but the stuff was never there. I also didn’t like the description became they didn’t make any sense and some of the didn’t even tell you what you were looking for. So I didn’t really like the app.

Get the app, get your family and/or friends and get hook to something other then a screen. Try it free, then go premium, if you enjoy the outdoors and challenging your senses go Geocaching!

A “premium membership” on this app is ridiculous and even more ridiculously expensive and I can’t think of any good reason why this app should cost any money other than just greed on the developers part. It’s not like they are the ones maintaining the geocaches and doing all the work. All they are providing is a database of locations, pretty simple. It shouldn’t cost anything.

My kids have done this before and said it was a blast! We tried it out and walked for a little while when we finally got there we could not find anything! They were five feet away and when they took one step they were 25 feet away. I would recommend trying this but some of the geo catching maps do not work.
