  • Bring back listening without a signal

    By stop pushing it's rude
I love Pocket! But the new update makes it necessary to have cell service in order to listen to the robot read my articles. The only reason I use Pocket is so I can read and listen on the Subway, when there’s no cell service. Please revert to how this feature worked previously!
  • User interface is slightly confusing

    In title.
  • Need improvements for iPad version

    By ShweAu
When I used pocket for Android, I can tap the earphone bottom once and then I go back to the saved page while listening to the audio of this page. Since I am not from a native English speaking country, English isn't my strong suit, I can't understand audio fully, I have to be backed up by the text, so both of my listening and reading skill improve at that instance. But now, I have to omit that built-in listening feature which I dearly love, since I cannot be able to understand the audio fully without the help of seeing the text. So now I just read the saved page just like I had done four years ago, which is a shame. I know this is just a coding fix, so make it happen Pocket for your millions of international customers. You have customers who resides in various corners of the world, so never expect one size fits all solution will work, which is why Apple falls, and Huawei takes it place. Take the lesson and grow. I want to love Pocket again.

I have used Pocket with several devices and it has worked perfectly on each one. I love the voice option.
  • Add Option to Show in Original View only

    By ReviewerT
Add an option to show in web/original view only. I like Pocket, I just don’t like how it opens in article view (even the auto mode select article view 95% of the times.) so please add an option to show in web view by default option toggle!
  • When is the next update?

    By tommy 22's
So though I don't have an exact estimate it seems lately there have been a bunch of updates to the app in pretty quick succession since the overhaul, but without offline listening it's mostly made the app useless, I'd written a couple weeks ago about the issue and have seen multiple reviews mentioning this as an issue and there were responses saying that was an issue you're working on, but it seems like it's been longer than usual waiting for that update to come around...
  • Navigation issues

    By NPI1
One of my favorite apps but the navigation and buttons are a little buggy and needs to be better
  • Latest version cuts off story

    By MongoSmash
I love Pocket, but they keep iterating with aspects of the app that aren’t broken and messing them up. Case in point, in the latest version I can’t read all the way through an article - it seems to scroll until about 4/5 of the way through, then gets stuck there. I can pull and see more of the content, but it bounces back to the stuck point. It knows it’s not the bottom because the action bar stays hidden. STOP BREAKING FUNDAMENTAL FEATURES.
  • Remove feature

    By Ciaowdy
The scroll-back-to-top feature of the recommended articles button was removed a while back. I’d love to see it return.
  • A death of a great app

    By Benita1
Audio: only online! Before a new version: offline ok. Support for non-English audio: removed. Before a new version: hundreds of languages. A tragedy. They went crazy. Moved back to Instapaper.
