    App does not function while connected to a VPN, ironic given that the Prime Now app functions flawlessly while connected.

    At checkout, whenever I change any of the options (like shipping) it has a spinning loading icon that never goes away thus doesn’t let me complete my order.
  • Alert Needed

    My one and only complaint with this app is that if you need to revise your payment it does not alert you on an iPhone. I have had several items I’ve ordered and needed ASAP and I will go in to check my status when they haven’t arrived and find out then that I needed a revise my payment. Just fix that and it’ll be great!
  • Numerous issues with controls

    Update: 8/17/2018 - this app continues to fail to respond to UI controls. Reducing to 1 star as I now cannot use it. There are times where the app does not respond to any screen selections. The two of note are: 1) I click a link in Safari which launches the Amazon app and displays what I’m going to call a single product display page that has the product images at the top and color, size selection drop downs that span the entire width of the screen. These selection drop downs are non functional. Selecting them does noting making it impossible to purchase the product 2) when reviewing my prior order list I enter a search term into the search orders entry field to narrow down the list. When I come back from that order list I am unable to enter information in text entry fields in other words text entry is disabled in the app. There are work around for each of these issues but they are suboptimal.

    First let me apologize for venting my gripe here but there seems to be no dedicated way to involve Amazon support or report problems for this app. This alone disqualifies it in my opinion but I still used it quite extensively prior to a recent update. Which broke the ordering process on my iPad pro. The problem is that when you select an item, and it has choices for color, size, etc., and launches such menu then once you return to the item the display will show no ordering buttons and most of time it will also be limited to what fits on the display, all details, reviews, etc., would be gone. The very same process works OK on my iPhone.

    What happened, Amazon? I’m using the Mobile App on an iPad Pro 2016 using iOS 11.4.1 and when I look at any product, it reverts to looking like a webpage and scrunches everything up to the right side. For instance, product descriptions become a very narrow column that only fits five or six words on each line. ADD THE ADD TO CART BUTTON IS MISSING?!?!?! Are you kidding me???? This app is now totally unusable! You have completely ruined my shopping experience on the Amazon Ipad app so I’m having to use the desktop mobile site on Safari or Chrome. I keep thinking that you will release an update that fixes this, but so far nothing. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, AMAZON!!!!

    The latest app update is awful. Half the time I have no add to cart button on my iPad. Plus, product descriptions are squeezed over to the side of the page which makes it hard to read! This used to be a great app, but now it’s almost unusable.

    I AM AN AVID amazon shopper. This app used to function very well. A week or so ago, it got ugly. Reviews, etc. are now shoved to the right, making it quite annoying to use the app. I thought perhaps I needed to update, but found that I am using the current version.
