  • Frustrating list of ads and click bait

Endless ads and click bait. App lacks obvious features to turn off the filler (the options lamely try to bait following more companies rather than stopping the flood of terrible Lynda “classes”). Each release removes ways to hide the low-value junk. People like you follow... nope! Can’t get rid of that even temporarily! Tedious to turn off all the notifications, emails and prompts to slurp in your entire address book. smh Edit: dear LinkedIn: when you keep make it worse, “sorry” appears disingenuous

Notification bugs fixed...now make it easy for me to sort newest posts first in my feed. I don't need to see articles or comments posted 18 days ago. Latest version is buggy. Lots of ghost notifications. Clear the and the pop back in within a couple minutes.
  • Poor mobile sharing

LinkedIn does a great job of letting me read what thought leaders have to say, but its app is poor for sharing original content. There's no way to manage a company page from within the app, and posting pics of events is a slow and failure-riddled process. Perhaps this is on purpose to drive users to 3rd-party apps that LI doesn't have to support?

  • All Saved Articles Have Disappeared

All of my saved articles disappeared in last update. I run a consulting business and this was a useful knowledge repository upon which I drew. Newly saved articles appear to be saving but are not. Where is the QA/QC in release testing? As a Microsoft shareholder I am very, very disappointed. My disappointment will be reflected in my future proxy votes.

Delete you LinkedIn account and see if you miss it. I did a year ago, nothing changed, don't miss it a bit.

9/15 update all the below still exists except now profile is missing entire interface for profile and article views and search appearances. There is no value left to this app. I lost all of my saved articles, enough said. Everything else feels irrelevant after this loss but it seemed I had more "notification alerts" than actual notifications received essentially alerting on nothing or invisible items. Then again saved articles disappeared...is this a magic trick? :( Still feel the same about the below items which have not improved over time... I am not sure it could get any worse. Then again I thought the last update was terrible this latest update proves it can. Why change the order of the icons and their functionality at the bottom? Newsfeed was awful in last update now it doesn't fit the screen right on the 6. The previous update was ridiculous why does every app feel the need to turn into social media with a newsfeed and timeline. New interface is clunky at best. No area to view and change your privacy settings. Not a fan at all.
