So this is a really well designed app and helps you a lot. But it makes me mad that you can barely do anything without premium, which cost money. I know the prices right now may be lower than normal, but for me I don’t want to pay $3.00 a month for a whole year. Maybe try making the app cost money instead of getting the app for free then having to pay for premium after you get it. I know a lot of people may have gotten it then realized everything they clicked on said premium so they deleted it. Please just take away premium and make getting the app cost money because it would be so much better.
  • Stop Getting Rid of Features

I’ve been using Lifesum for years and while it’s still a good app, with the last few updates they’ve stripped some key features from the free version. You can no longer adjust your macro split percentages, and I used this feature a lot for different stages of bulking/cutting. I understand they want people to upgrade to premium but it’s kinda cheap to take away features that have always been there to force it. Also more and more of the app has been dedicated to recipes and other Premium stuff, none of which I’m interested in. The food logging (which used to be the focus) is limited to a single tab and all the settings are becoming more and more of a pain to get to. I think most users want to use this app to track what they’re eating and it seems that is no longer the focus. I’m so frustrated now I might just switch to MyFitnessPal.
  • Glad net carbs have been added! Still a few kinks

So glad to see they’ve added Net Carbs as an option to help those of us on a keto diet. I noticed the “Nutrient Distribution” still reflects the Total Carbs not net carbs though, so it shows as “Imbalanced” nutrient distribution, and that your food is high in carbs even if it’s low in carbs, which is confusing...This also means some of the meals i eat inaccurately show a frowny face when they’re actually very balanced. Hopefully the developers fix this...adding net carbs is definitely a good start!
  • Awesome app!

I absolutely love this app! Not only is it beautifully designed, but it’s so simple to use! It’s also great how it’ll sync to other health apps on your phone / watch. Inputting food is also easy, whether it’s already in the system or something new! I just wish you were able to use other meal plans besides the classic without paying for premium. I’d like to be able to adjust my macros!
  • Used to love this app

I'm on a strictly keto diet, and this app was the best thing since sliced bread to track all my macros when I first started. I found it way easier than the ones others were swearing by, that I won't name. About 2-3 weeks in, I noticed it would randomly shut down while I would be logging in all my food intake. Just close right out. So, no biggie, I'd just jump right back in (thankfully even when it shut down it saved my entries) and keep going. It was just here and there for a few days, then I couldn't even be on it without it turning off. It really started pissing me off, to where I'd dread logging in. So I tried to download the 'other one' and use it instead, but it's not the same. I almost paid for the entire year too, so I was really glad I chose to ride out the free version for a little bit longer first. So I got good at mentally counting my macros, but I reached a stall in my keto, so today I thought I'd jump on tracking my macros again. Weird, I'd almost forgotten about the glitchy crap until I went to log in my first food today. Shut right down, so I rolled my eyes, logged in again anyways, and it shut my whole phone down. I'm done. It's one thing to have a glitch or two, I mean come on, no tech is perfect... But to restart my phone for me? That beyond took me to another level with it. For the record, no existing probs with my phone, no it's never ever randomly turned itself off for no reason Before either. It's a fairly new iPhone 7. Perfect condition. It literally never acts up until I'm using this app. And it blows! Bc otherwise I really think this was an awesome app.

    This is an awesome app
  • Add Net carbs!!

    By dlynn126
If you’re doing Keto and thinking about paying for this app... don’t. You can’t track net carbs despite users asking for this option to be added for years. Useless for Keto. When will the feature be added?
  • Just 1 Problem

When I want to go to a certain tab on the app, the app closes and goes back to the home screen. I can’t get nothing done on it with it doing that.
