  • Was better before...

I used to recommend this app to my clients all the time and I would use it a lot too, and now you have to go to Premium to do a lot of the features you could do before. You used to be able to adjust your macros and now you have to pay. I won’t be able to use this anymore since mine are changing. Otherwise it’s a nice looking and easy app to use.
  • Like it!

I do like the app. Been using it for several months... My problem is when it tells you to take a pic of your food, it's almost always wrong and they only give you a few options of what they think it is. You can't take a pic and say what it is. So I end up putting each ingredient in one by one and it gets a little annoying. I like the day ratings and the little advice they give. Overall it's a good app!
  • I love the app!

I liked it so much that I paid for the enhanced version. Adding your food is super easy! I just wish there was a way to set up your own macros. I know the ones in there working really well, but I’m trying to play around with mine and wanted to enter them manually, but can’t. Do you know if that’s a future feature you plan on adding like a “customize your own”?
  • Recipes

    By Scorpioluvvy
My only problem with the app is the recipes, they are slightly odd. Example: pickle egg and three sauces, spiced Savoy cabbage with sultanas and walnuts. I am looking for a meal prep app and this is not it. I do give it three stars because you can scan and log your own stuff. Just don’t like the recipes it gives you.
  • Easy, informative

I’m usually not good at maintaining any diary, but Lifesum makes it easy. I haven’t used the camera successfully yet, but I have found comparable foods in the app. I like that the app incorporates information from my Apple Watch; less info for me to enter. Having actual metrics available at any time is enlightening. It’s easy to think I’m doing well with my diet, but Lifesum provides me with real data. It also gives little tidbits and supportive comments throughout the day for encouragement and education. Glad I got it.
  • Bad data

    By Pynuts
Great design; however 9 out of 10 items have incorrect data. Some of the items have been verified by Lifesum and are still incorrect. These items are locked down and you can’t fix the data to add to your diary.
  • Inaccurate

I’ve only had the app for 8 days. I really liked the idea of the app and the layout. I even got my boyfriend to download it because he was curious about it. After a week of tracking our food, water intake and steps. We realized that it was inaccurate on certain items. For instance large sonic fries said it has 57000 calories but when we looked it up on the app because we thought that seemed high it says only 470 Calories. Also I dislike the fact that I can’t customize the meals I make and it gives me options for meals in restaurants that I’ve never heard of because we don’t have them in the south. As well as the water intake. It only gives you options for 8.45 & 16.91 fl oz. The cup I use is a 32 oz. I feel like there are a few things that need to be fixed if they’re going to charge for a subscription.
  • Refund

    By Misszee1717
I wanted to lose weight. So I downloaded this app. It’s a good app but just not for me. I was stupid and bought a year subscription but I canceled it yesterday. I was hoping I could get a refund since they made me pay the $45 up front and not monthly like I thought. I used it for a week. And now I’m out $45 because of it.
  • Love it but..

First thing is I wish when you plug in your own calories they also would have the option to plug in your fat protein and carb content. Just plugging in calories is not what everybody’s tracking. Second I wish the scan barcode mode would actually scan the correct macros, I’ll scan something and it pulls up different macros causing me to plug it in.
  • Works great for my needs

    Great database for tracking nutrition
