Jesta is a new way to eat at restaurants. No more paper menus, and long waits for waiters just to take your order and extra long wait at the end of your meal just to get the bill From now on, you can do all of those things from the comfort of your iPhone. Simply sit down, scan the QR code at your table and order whatever you want while seeing high quality pictures of your dish. When you’re done, simply leave the restaurant and Jesta will take care of your bill including the tip. No more awkward moment when you get the bill at the end of the meal when you’re going out with friends. Each person orders from his iPhone and will be charged for exactly what he orders, so asking the waiter to split the bill is a thing of the past.



  • Not really needed

    Really awkward when at brunch and this dude comes over and grabs your phone and downloads this app for you. Then comes the waitress saying he is rude and wants to take over her job. Feel like you if you order through this app the staff will not give the service expected.
  • I liked the idea. It works well but It will be better if more restaurants willing haven’t it

    Tried it once and and it’s pretty good. It’s a new concept but it’s very easy to use. The app is pretty basic so things are not complicated. You can order food from the app to your table and payment is even easier. My girlfriend and I both ordered from the app and it was pretty smooth. It’s nice to finally seeing some innovation in the restaurant industry other then just deliveries.

    My experience with this app couldn’t be smoother! It’s super cool to sit down, all the menu items are displayed clearly, and it’s very easy to create your order exactly how you want it! No more waiting for the waiter to pick up your order and no more waiting for the waiter to take and process your payment! Everything is done through the app! I hope this becomes the new standard in all restaurants!

    After a short conversation with the creator and hearing how passionate he is, I had to try this out. I was not disappointed!! There’s a photo of every that made it so much easier to decide what I want. The server brought us our food in a totally reasonable time and when we were done, you can just leave! Such a good idea and the app is so easy to work with, we didn’t experience any bugs at all. Can’t wait for this to reach more of my favorite spots!

  • Great idea, poor execution

    The idea is good, but then comes the awkward moment when you want to ask the wait staff about a menu item and they want to take your order but you aren’t supposed to? Super odd. Then comes they pushy startup guy telling you why you are wrong and his app is better then Uber. Then he pulls the waitress outside and berates her for 10 minutes until you have to go tell him to quit being a d*** and let her do her job. Also when he tells you waiters don’t matter and aren’t needed... I wish them luck, but they might need to hire someone with better sales skills and work to improve the relationship between the app and wait staff.
  • Pushy creator who berates servers

    When the creator of the app approaches your table without asking and spends five minutes explaining it, in essence saying the wait staff don’t matter - you get one star. When we told him some feedback after he asked about our opinions, he took our server out back and was berating her for over five minutes. Learn the business: get the wait staff to buy in first and then maybe it will be a success. Being pushy and rude to staff is never the way to win.
