    You don’t have to call AT&T automated system! Everyone hates having to call. Saves time and you can manage your password so easily. My network went down and all I did was open the app. It detected an issue right away and got me on a chat with tech support right then. Scheduled an appointment for a repair within 3 min!

    I’ve used the app to reset the network and while overall it could be useful to set your password and other features, I know AT&T is manipulating speeds at certain hours. My speed at night, starting about 11pm drops. If all is well, I usually get ~360 Mpbs download speeds. At night it goes down to 180!!! On top of that, when I run a speed test in their app, it shows the speed is 396....EVERY SINGLE TIME! Even when I ran the SpeedTest on 2-3 other devices at the same time that show half of that at best... Its pretty obvious after doing it at least 10 times throughout the year that they don’t show accurate speeds to the user inside the app, and I have a feeling it is by design... because the majority of people who aren’t tech savvy won’t run independent tests to know any better and just use the app.

    AT&T did an awesome job with this app. It takes care of all your needs. I am alerted when a new device is trying to access the app and I love that. I love that we get notifications when the service is not working properly. I can’t think of anything else that needs to be done to this app.

    There were devices that popped up on my WiFi band that I do not have. I was able to block them and get faster network. In the past I had gotten hacked through my home WiFi and it destroyed the WiFi box and my iPhone. I had no idea there were computers and gamers in there until there was no WiFi signal at all. I have teenage sons who love video games. I feel they are safer now that I can set times they have access to the WiFi and when they don’t, keeping them from being targets for hackers. Smart Home Manager really comes in handy on school nights. Now my children get sleep, do their chores to earn internet time because they can’t sneak on the WiFi late at night. I give 5 stars because if I didn’t have this app on my devices those devices I blocked would probably have cost me another phone and very possibly my identity by now. Not to mention the rest of my households devices.
